One of the main things that makes Les so effective is he really speaks from the core. In his motivation, you can literally hear the voice of the person who has been through the tough times and overcame them. His voice carries the feeling of experiencing those gloomy days, when nothing was right, when he knew it was hard, but he did it hard!

I've been clicking onto this now for two whole years. Here recently I've been clicking onto it way often. Every time i get something out of it. It is the most inspirational speech I've ever heard. It resonates with me more day by day.
I was In the United Kingdom for nine years and I always wanted relocate to Africa and was afraid to do so until I stumbled upon less brown's speech of Fear. that was the turning point for me and I kept coming back to these speeches since that day. not only I am I earning a living in Africa but I have also surpassed my expectations. it has been a rolla coaster ride for me. Les Brown is very simply ..in a class of his own. His life story is inspiring...lot to learn from this great MAN.
I was bullied on my first 3 years of high school because of my bad grades and performance. I struggled through financial problems, family problems and academic problems. I struggled mentally and physically being pressured by such responsibilities that I could not fulfill. I had attempted suicide more than I can count. I couldn't bare everything my pride, my reputation and myself as a person was trashed and that anger and despair I felt fueled me to a height I had never achieved and as I was losing hope and as I was falling I started looking for solutions once again and then I saw this video and then I saw another one and then It was a habit for me to hear these videos every once in a while it was fun and motivating making me think I could reach for more. I am now a fourth year high school student one of the high performing male students of our batch and I have developed my skills and I am continuing to improve them I have been given hope and I now have something to work on. I thank Goalcast and Lesbrown for this video. It helped me a lot.
