Look mum, no borders! :) Yeah, it's just a background animation for the live set, without trying to be true to C64 limits. Hope you still like it tho :)
Stunning work, bro'. It was a great head nodding, foot stomping, dance moving set on the party, everyone in the audience having fun. It was an awesome 8-bit event.
@@astraton2001 Well, except the SIDs of course, everything is made on a PC. For music mixing I used Reaper, for live mixing and effects I used a laptop and controlled it with an Akai midi controller. The InterKarate guy's animation and the rest of the visuals were made with modern tools, they are not compatible with oldschool hardware. The purpose is not even to be compatible with C64 or similar hardware but to have a visual representation of the actual tune on screen during the live set.
@@StrayBoom Good job. Any special Software for the visuals you use ? Aftereffects ? Photoshop ? Blender ? The FLD effect looks pretty native. I still remember how I could do it in C64 assembler, but I have no clue how to recreate it with modern software without a lot of work.
@@astraton2001 Thanks. I believe poison's (the graphics artist) main tools are Photoshop and Blender. Not sure what did he use for that looping animation with FLD and effects. You might want to send me your query via email and I can forward it to him.
So good! Referred here by my Hungarian colleagues and glad to have discovered the works of StrayBoom/Vincenzo!

That 1 dislike I don't care for. Nice compilation!
Well said, master.
Are all these tracks pure SID? If so, then this is simply awesome!
Intro StarWars, Pongish, Voodo People and Could be cool are pure SIDs. The rest has an additional layer of drums.
Very good mix, sir! :) I hope next time I can be there in person.
Well done, looks nice, sounds nice! Keep it rocking! Sid sounds rulez :)
fuckin good!
Awesome! What did you use to create the intro ?
Which part of the intro are you interested in? Music, visuals, sync..?
@@StrayBoom Generally. Seems the intro is not made with a c64 or amiga but created with some other software, or am I'm wrong ?

Not as cool as Wacek live sets but nice anyway, the demo like video is on point.
