    Really nice layout! Love the Central

    Best model railroad I've seen in years, and appealing in so many ways. Love the carfloat and the choice of 1st generation power. The FM is the sweetest! Detailing goes right to the asphalt repairs in the low prioriy streets. Man, this is the best!

    So many boxcars! So many different colors and styles and road names and details! So good and I love it!

    What an amazing layout. Love the videos and operations action. Bell is a little much, but otherwise this would be fun to run. Thanks for sharing!

      That may be the cab bell. Think if the gate crossing bell was going too. I'm sure it happened (happens). Ringa ding ding‼️😁

    We can all agree that this layout looks busy, busy, busy 😁😁

    I recently found your channel. The whole layout is different than what I am doing, but it's a LOT of fun to watch and to appreciate your modeling. The operations in this area must have been intense to keep a city running!

    Beautiful layout. I love the detail!! And I enjoy seeing your trains switching through the detail: your structures, scenic junk, figures, etc. Congrats and thanks, John!!

    I really love how "populated" the layout looks. Lots of figures, lots of cars and trucks, and the details around them. Thanks! - Paul

    Years ago, Bev-Bell had a whole series of Pace Maker ( Athearn ) , cars. They were nice , I should bought them all.
    Nice job. Love your work.

      Thank you for the kind words. These Pacemakers are, if I remember right, Intermountain cars. They ran them quite awhile ago.

    Absolutely love watching you run trains on your layout. It's fantastic. I was a brakeman in my younger day. Switched over to working with national trucking freight companies the remainder of my working life.. Just want to let you know that your 27-ft trailers are too tight against the tracks. You couldn't get a tractor in there to get them out or to spot them at the dock.

    • @manhattanterminalrailroadh9776
      @manhattanterminalrailroadh9776  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the kind words and feedback! I will be swapping out those trailers for something else.

    Great job with these videos! You have a nice supply of Central equipment and vehicles. Your Pacemaker box cars are really nice, but they are probably not available anymore. Keep the videos coming! They are well thought out and your camera and lighting are superb. Thanks.

    Great layout and suburb videos! I am enjoying watching all of your videos. Could you post a diagram of your layout with some details? Would like to see more details of how you built the layout and size etc.
    Thanks for sharing.....

    Love the Pacemakers. Seems like FGLK had some patched out, and somebody (Atlas? Walthers?) sold HO models. You do high quality work. I can't understand why you don't have more subs. Your details are right on the money. Only thing I would suggest, is clip the trip pins from the couplers, or get smaller couplers. Great job, man!💯

      @manhattanterminalrailroadh9776  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not too worried about subscribers….I only put the channel up a month or so ago and I haven’t told anyone about it yet! I wanted to get a half dozen videos or so up first. Agree on the couples…it’s on my long to do list.

    Do the little fellas at the side of the track indicate where the uncoupling magnets are for the KDs?

    • @manhattanterminalrailroadh9776
      @manhattanterminalrailroadh9776  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, I don’t use magnets, though one or two of the little guys are placed where coupling and uncoupling commonly occur.

    How do the highway trailers all in a row get spotted at the loading doors if there's no room for their trucks?

    • @manhattanterminalrailroadh9776
      @manhattanterminalrailroadh9776  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Only the two trailers with cabs are working the freight doors, the others are in storage. I assume they would back them in one at a time and then pull the cab off. Do you think the trailers should be parallel to the building instead?

    • @whiteknightcat
      @whiteknightcat 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@manhattanterminalrailroadh9776 No, definitely not parallel.

    Can kindly tell me where you purchased your trucks and car from , my Husband is building a Penn Central and Conrail Layout

    • @manhattanterminalrailroadh9776
      @manhattanterminalrailroadh9776  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Many, and probably most, of the cars and trucks are made by Classic Metal Works and a few by Oxford. They were purchased one or two at a time over the past decade from a dozen or two different retailers, both online and in store.
