Egypt 2024 - Gassous Bay - scuba diving at Coral Garden Beach Resort for your own and whole family

We were at the "Coral Garden Beach Resort" on Gassous Bay for the second time. We were thrilled by the hospitality of the Egyptians, the quality of the delicious food, the cozy bar on the beach and, above all, the variety under water and the ease of diving. According to Egyptian regulations, anyone who has more than 30 TG is allowed to enter the water without a guide - which of course makes this area particularly interesting for those who like to dive on their own and comfortably. The hotel is a bit simpler than the usual 4-star standard, the air conditioning is sometimes loud as a jet and there is no pool - but everything is comfortable and well organized with a view of the diving school. Safety is very important here. The dive guides are all well trained and all speak multiple languages. Sonja, Susi and (especially) Tom take great care to ensure that everything actually takes place within the framework of the local legal requirements and the regulations of the diving associations.
Many of the international, but mostly German, guests are “repeat offenders”. We are one of them and are already planning a third trip here in 2025. Until then, there is still another diving adventure ahead. We're going to Mexico in 2024 and diving around the island of Cozumel.
