I just went flawless today using matchmaking! I was going solo and using no mics. I find this way it gives the chance to more people to try and get some nice loot.
Keep playing after you get flawless every win gives you an adept until you lose and don’t wipe your card if you just wanna farm rep at 7 wins each game gives you 100 rep win or loss

I had the most fun playing Trials last night than I have since D1... I'm more of a solo player and whenever I do manage to get a fireteam we don't seem to click well so I prefer solo, honestly. And even though I had some tough losses last night I managed to get 7 wins on a flawed card but still got some nice loot, including 2 really nice Messenger rolls. Also, the armor this season is gorgeous. Having the option to play solo allows people to not only try, but get better. and you're always progressing whether it be getting bounties done, getting some rank which gives you Trials specific engrams, but most valuable of all you're getting experience that allows you to improve. Solo Trials is coming this season too so this is a nice change to get people use to going in matchmade with randoms.
Not gonna lie, match 3 was one of the sickest matches ive ever seen. Shit talking or not, GG. As a generally solo, that was nuts to watch after having fought teams like that.

today i got like 6-3 in my first hour with pretty enjoyable games(im solo) and no bs it took me close to two hours to get the 7th, all of them were three stacks that got to light house after our match, i dont mind losing cuz im solo but thats just too much
As a stack it felt easier on the other side when I went in solos some games we won against stacks and other solos but I did have some games where people just leave when it was 0-2, 0-3
I managed to solo flawless yesterday, it seems the “skill based” isn’t really set in yet. I have a feeling they are still collecting data to be used later
The mode is just fucked. Completely. It is no longer a "pinnacle PvP activity" when all you have to do is beat ppl that have solo queued with their 0.1 kd friends

Keeping the mode as accessible as possible to let people chase whatever they want keeps the mode alive. Besides, it's not like everyone will get the title now. Much less gild it. And on a looter shooter, for things like prestige, it's better to keep the separation cosmetic. You still get to flex about your accomplishments, others get to shoot the guns they wanted. "But PvE is so much easier, why should it be easier to get things from the pinnacle PvP mode!" Because much like you have to go to PvE for some of the best PvP rolls, some of the best PvE rolls are from trials or IB. Particularly Reeds Regret.

I love the trials changes. I am not good at PvP. I dont dislike PvP I am just old and learn much more slowly than I used to so I didn't play trials but now with the changes then hell yes I am playing. I do really like how the good players are playing the good players while us shitty players are playing shitty players. However I would like to have the chance of matching up against people like Jake, Wallah, Panduh, Zk, etc... but if I have to get good for that or get a carry then cool.
