I have 2 that I mounted next to the rear seat. Now these will be what I need to complete my storage area for the kitchen I built. Sturdy enough for heavy utensils. Thanks
Per the XG Cargo website they will work with soft tops. They show them with the zipper opening to the outside so you can unzip the rear panel and access the bag.
Many of these bags are advertised as only working in the 4dr Jeeps, I am guessing because they interfere with the seatbelts on the 2dr's. If you're removing the rear seat though, I don't think that becomes an issue... I like these. Thank you!
I keep one with my recovery items, so it's kind of heavy with the shackles and ropes. The other i use for all my air down and air up stuff. Seems very sturdy with the metal support. I wouldn't overload it.
I have those cargo bags. Now in searching for a soft top that will work without having to take out the bags. Anything you tried or seen in regards to what soft tops will work?
This review is for a JK, not a JL, just so folks know!! Different installation for JL, and while instructions say it will work with soft top it will not!
That is fair. I do think they are expensive, but to me they are bomb proof. In all the time I have had them and been using them I haven't had a thread come loose. Thanks for watching!
1. The cost and materials that went into these bags are not cheap. They are well made and sturdy. So far I have had no tears, rips or even fraying of anything. 2. You don't have to buy it if it's too much. 3. They always have discounts codes floating around to make them cheaper. Thanks for watching!

That's a great idea! Thanks for watching!
Thats what I'm looking for Camp Kitchen for this Jeep easy to remove when out exploring
I have a Cargo rack and the metal brackets don't fit. I used the 2 Velcro straps that go around the roll bars, it's very solid, love them.
I was looking for more info on these bags before purchasing and this was a really well done review. Thx for putting it out there.
Thanks for watching! Appreciate it.

We still love em. Great bags and no issues after all these years. Thanks for watching!
those are really great curious how the view is as for the blindspots or are you able to see out right before the bags? thanks
I haven't had an issue with the blind spot. I can still see.
That Jeep logo is the Patagonia logo/colors..Fitz Roy logo
it can be used as backpack? or can be removed quickly?
Do you think these are strong enough to fill them with tools like wrenches and sockets?

I don't have a soft top, so wouldn't be a good resource for that info. sorry.
Will this interfere with a rear cargo shelf?
Not sure. Haven't used it with any kind of cargo shelf.
What is the coupling
underneath the bag? It's for my air compressor. I ran the line to the back.

Thank you! That was my question before buying them.
Too much trouble for the Xtra cost
Nice review and bags but way overpriced! I’ve seen others with more functionality for around $70.

Paying extra cost for less storage , well the frame I guess....sorry.
i mean....almost $100/bag is absurd.
