I am partial to the 70’s because I looooooved bell bottom pants and the fringe vests. I was more concerned about my hair then clothes. I think about reviving some of those looks then I remember I use public transportation. I would have to find a public accessible restroom to switch out my traveling pants to my bell bottoms. 😆

I love that you said 70s, which in context of the heel bottoms I’m taking as the 1970s. For some reason my brain always wants to separate vintage and historical when there really is no separation. I must get over this lol 😆

I do the same. Heel Bottom, just thinking about that popped a new grey hair on my head. I remember people calling it heel bottom. I was too stubborn to change it out. 😁

I like all of them. But I'm generally drawn to the periods where things were plain or had minimal trim. Because by the time I've made all the layers I don't feel like adding miles of trim. 😅
At a push regency but 1790s transitional styles or turn of the century edwardian/ww1.

I like 1950's, some Victorian and a few others.
I'm not much of a scholar, so, idk the style names or times very well

Wow! I truly enjoyed this video. As a kid I love the the style of 1800- 1848, From the late 1840s to 1860s I love the style of the dresses, not so much the wideness of the dresses. The Era of the bustle was my lease favorite. The 1920s-1940s were not my favorite. My absolute favorite fashion era is the 1950s and 60s. When I learned to sew, sewing and wearing historical clothes was unheared of. Sewing has come a long way baby and I'm inspired by you and the young lady you interview. I'm heading over to her channel.

What is interesting is that all ladies wore the similar styles the heavy ladies Since their waist, Wore the stomachers and their time, it didn’t matter what size they wore the fabrics of course would buy your status or standing in the economic sense yet the styles were common that’s interesting.
