It's not too small. I only collect this general size and style tanks.
I didn't know this one. Now I'm looking!
You ate correct. I just picked up a 1942 Hamilton in platinum. Love it
oh, you got a very special piece!
Great job describing the Hamilton brand. I collect only vintage Hamilton in solid 14k. Wear them frequently, especially the Glenn model. Receive lots of compliments. P.s. I was not familiar with the model you showed us on your video. Intriguing. Certainly a great collectible.
Finally! Somebody who gets it. Solid gold Hamiltons were the best watches you could get in US. These were the most desirable watches and collectors now just ignore them
Just a follow up note. High quality solid gold Hamilton’s are becoming harder to find. And, interestingly, while the price of gold has gone up, the prices of these gems have not kept pace. Is that your take on it as well?
Great video! I wanted to learn more about those pre war American watches. Thanks!
Excellent video! Very informative. Do you foresee the vintage Hamiltons going up in value in the future?
I surely hope so. Especially solid gold models.
Where did you pick that Custer up from? I would love to get one of those.
I got this one on a forum, but they do pop up from time to time on ebay. Setup your alerts and wait.
An excellent review
Thanks 🙏
Those watches were not cheap - a gold Hamilton cost around $1500 in tiday's prices, a gold plated watch cost 700-900
Beautiful
The Swiss watches were knock offs of American watches, especially Hamilton, they were a premier brand.
Another manufacturing niche we blew off.
Was not familiar with the Custer. Nice.
