I didn't even knew about Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj until chhaava trailer dropped. I knew about that marathi movie starring Thakur Anoop Singh, but I thought he was playing the og himself, but then I did some digging of my own and got to know about this unsung warrior, I don't know too much about him as I didn't want to get spoiled. But now, it has my full attention, I started looking at the timeline of events that took place when Aurang was ruling Delhi.
I would also like to talk about another unsung warrior from my state Punjab, Banda Singh Bahadur, I find his story very similar to Chatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, as he also wanted to fulfil his guru's dream after Sri Guru Gobind Singh's demise, He fought a lot of battles against mughals, but it was after Aurang died. At the end, he was captured by muslims and they tried to convert him. Every day, they beheaded 100 or more Sikhs and they also captured his son. When he refused to convert, they killed his son in front of him and feed him his son's heart. They couldn't shake Banda's faith. He followed his guru, even when they ripped his eyes, chopped of his limbs and skinned him. I would love to see his story come to big screen one day as well.

Why so jealous on Pushpa’s success? I loved the movie so my family did. I never saw my family hooting or cheering for any Bollywood movie or Bollywood hero in a long time. But Pushpa did that and I was so happy to see my family happy and enjoying the movie. Please ask your Bollywood to make a good commercial movies with good songs without including any propaganda then see how audience accept it. Pushpa didn’t had any propaganda scenes, it was all about his love towards his wife, towards his family and of course he was religious. Yes, there are some flaws in the film including the fight scenes but that doesn’t make Pushpa a bad film at all. It deserved all the success. So please keep your jealousy aside and enjoy the movie no matter whether its Bollywood or South or any other regional content. Also, pls watch Chhava trailer closely and if you know atleast .1% about Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj you will come to know why people are mocking the trailer. So again, tell your Bollywood to stop spreading propaganda and hatred towards Hindu and it’s a high time. If they can celebrate other religion, so why can’t they celebrate Hindu? I am not from South, I am born n bought up in Mumbai and a Maharashtrian but since childhood I have been watching all the movies including, Hindi, Marathi, Telugu etc and fyi Allu Arjun is famous in Maharashtra since his Arya movie.
