I think this is so pointless. What’s the point in making falcon captain America if he’s barely going to actually have the shield? He literally hasn’t used it. I think Sebastian is just teasing something that could happen a lot further down the line, or a variant Bucky with the shield
Bucky should have got the shield after Steve anyways. The redemption arc of not being up to the task of taking up the mantle of Cap, not feeling worthy due to his time as the winter soldier. Would have made a far more dramatic and engaging story than Sam not feeling up to the task just coz he's black, which was a huge disservice both to Sam as a character and also to Anthony Mackie as an actor.

Bless up and enjoy 2025
I think Bucky as Cap would be great! We could have a whole film of Captain America's just teaming up and fighting each other! They could team up with Hugh Jackman!
Stan pitched a Winter Soldier chronicle adventure prior to his de-programming.
IMHO - It's a good concept, but most importantly would require Stan to really push his acting abilities and to really examine the Winter Soldier character.
Impossible - without a R-rating.
You could have Sam and Bucky going up against evil Steve similarly to the way Steve and Bucky went against Tony Stark in Civil War.
I can see him coming in as a Variant..then he takes the main role somehow. Not mad it
Steve Rogers is Captain America. I don't care who you get to play him, but all these fill-ins make me roll my eyes because they will always live in the shadow of the original, and the original always comes back. It always happens. In the comics they always try to gaslight everyone into thinking "And this time it's for real, and we're never EVER undoing it in a year after the story has run it's course!" It never works, and it never lasts.
