Side note: people are using custom dice, like Yoshi Dice. It can give them 7, like Yoshis or 0s, like others.

Something crazy is that Peach only won by *1 COIN!* If Luigi had even just landed on one more blue space or got a higher placement in 1 minigame, he would've won. Poor Luigi.

I noticed that Peach rolled a 4, Yoshi rolled a 5, Mario (ZXMany) rolled a 6, and Luigi rolled a 7 on their first turns. They're lined up!
The part where Yoshi store your star hurt me. I know how that feels!

I've played through the entire game, and as "lackluster" as it may be, there's certainly a lot to enjoy. The quest for the 5 gems, which is your major task for the game, should be enough to keep you going through the game for quite a bit.

While I'll most certainly enjoy Superstars even more, I still had so much fun playing Super, so I'm really happy to watch you play it, even more so now that you moved to full board games!
By the way, sadly Donkey Kong 64 is not one of the confirmed games for the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack, I'd love to see that added since I've played it but never finished it!
Oh no! I was really hoping DK64 would be part of it! Hopefully it gets added at some point 🤷♀ I wouldn't be surprised if they add more games to make it seem like an even better deal in the future

Ya know how you played Roblox? I actually dunno if you take recommendations, But I recommend a game called "Tornado Alley Ultimate" On Roblox. It's similar to Natural disaster survival but mainly focused on tornadoes.
Here are the game modes:
Normal Survival: One Tornado
Retronado: Normal Survival but Old look of tornado
Double Trouble: Two Tornadoes
Triple Threat: Self-explanatory
4-Nado: Self-explanatory

If you play every single board and mode you can unlock characters
A few advices for your next games in solo (or for anyone who finds this comment):
*_This comment may contain info you want to learn by yourself_*
-If you have the opportunity to have an ally, grab it, unless it prevents you from getting a star in the final turns and you're losing/someone else will get it. Allies are incredibly OP, on the board, in the ally minigames and sometimes for the bonus stars. More dices means more movement possibilities and planification (I cringed so hard Turn 1, you had the choice to get one, but you didn't knew...). Also, when you have an ally, you are almost sure to move, you will move further in the long game and risking winning/losing coins and not moving isn't as bad it it is without an ally.
-Analyse each space you may want to get, then, check your dices, look at which one gives you the best probability to get on the space you want. If you have allies, take into consideration that they will always give you +1 or +2, so think about it too. It's still probabilities, but it works well solo, and cannot be bad with allies.
-Early game, spot the specials spaces, like shops, Lakitus and Paratroopas, you may want to plan your movement accordingly to their positions (Shops can give useful items, Paratroopa change the positions on the board, etc.).
-Learn the boards the best you can, or, more accurately, learn what their Event Spaces do, it may take a few games on each board, but you'll eventually know what they do. Boards often have many Event Spaces that do the same thing, for example, almost all the ones that weren't at the very north of the map all moves the Whomps. And it's not bad to learn all the possible star spaces, that is pure memory though.
-Don't just rush for the star, CPU often do the same, you may just not get it, after spending many turns getting to it, who knows? Maybe you'll lose coins right before you get it, and not have enough (O.K., in this game, not having 10 coins is really rare, if everyone isn't relentless against you in the first turns, you *should* be fine for that.). And where is the next star gonna be? Unlikely in front of the one who just got it, likely far away actually.
-*Never* miss an opportunity with Lakitu, he can, in the turn of one player, make the last one first, and the first one first. And it's really cheap in this game compared to the old games (Yoshi pretty much screwed your game Turn 8, didn't he?).

The reason that they were getting 7 and 0 is because each character has the option between a normal dice or their dice
Used to play Mario party 5 and 7 with my brothers and we were very competitive. I never liked playing solo because the game always seemed rigged for the cpu to win no matter what difficulty you put them on and the game finds a way to screw you over towards the last turns

Do you still have a Wii or Wii U? If so, you should 100% play Mario Party 8, the last good Mario Party before the cars came in. If you have a DS or 3DS, play Mario Party DS as it has an amazing story mode.

@@ZXMany Yeah I'd love that, also the bots in book 1 (and book 2 chapters 1-4) automatically know where you are at all times. For book 2 chapters 5-12 don't know where you (they follow a certain path called Patrol Points) and place traps. Hope this helped :) (maybe you could play with me and I could help you sharpen your piggy skills)
