Hi All, I just wanted to comment on this one, as this week I used it to record some PS1 footage after buying an AV cable. It came out great, not as sharp as some of the top end capture devices but was acceptable considering what I paid for it. Again, as mentioned, use OBS, it works a lot better than the software that comes with it and also you can go Live.
hi never got the delay on the old tiger tv card thanks for letting us know what you think about the unit the more money unit's are better like the £49 uk one with all the video formats
I was hoping this video was going to show how to connect and run a vhs video and get out on your laptop, alas I'm a bit of a dinosaur and have failed so far. This video gives no instructions as to how it works. Help!
Hi just bought one of these as the box said on it o/s vista to windows 10, now I run win10 but the disc wouldn't load even after disabling antivirus, so I managed to download from digitnow website and it loaded however win10 shows in the menu the usb device and usb audio but it doesn't see the video 8 camera attached just a black screen, and ive tried adjusting in the device manager which also starts to appear and disappear at 5 second intervals when clicked on the conponent but no result any ideas please ?
Hi, I haven't used this for a while so I thought id check it out again with my Saturn. The video did indeed not show and was blank, so the first thing I noticed was that I had the little switch on the side not set to Scart, the second thing I came across was the device setting was set to USB port 2 which my grabber was not plugged in to. After doing these steps the video of the Saturn came on. This was within OBS and using scart connection so not exactly the same set up as yourself. What I would do is try another input such as scart and software (maybe obs?) and see if the things working at all, then eliminate any problems as you go. Hope that may help. Cheers for watching.
Hello there, i've been looking for a solution to digitize my old VHS tapes using SCART signal, since the alternatives i've used, RCA all of them, doesn't deliver enough image quality. As a result, when i display my old VHS tapes on the TFT through SCART they display somehow great despite the format and the TFT upscaler, however using different alternatives that need RCA signal, the captured result is a blurry mess. Does this device deliver any improvement to this situation? Cheers!
Hi, thanks for the feedback. I would try the following which has good reviews for a more high quality unit: Hauppauge HD PVR Rocket. portable USB-powered full 1080p hdmi video r
TECHHorizon , thank you for the recommendation. I ended up getting a Canopus unit off ebay and using Power Director on the computer. Would have like to see the vhs tapes cleaned up more but i suspect that is more from inexperience than the hardware. keep up the great work
How on earth in 2019 can it still be this complicated to record gameplay? Its absolutely ridiculous. You would think every TV now would simply record what's on the screen at the press of a button.
Yes i understand what you are saying with the TV's, however there are easier options out there, they are just a bit more money. You can of course record by the press of a button on PS4 and XBOX one, streaming also.

Hi Robert, thanks for the feedback. If you need a bit of help I can try my best to advise, I may even do some more video on this particular product. The device is pretty simple though, even for me! It is a plug and play device, so windows should recognise the device when connected and install the correct driver, if not it will be on the CD or internet. Once connected, the software you are using should show which video devices to select from and will show this device, if you are feeding video input from your VHS it should show on the capture preview screen.

The results are certainly good enough for TH-cam!
Does this handle interlace video. I heard that some capture cards cannot do interlace and captures very poor quality?
Thanks for the review! What's the lag of the device, can you play comfortably on a preview window?

I have a simple question. The digital copy is of the same quality as the original or worse? If worse, how much?
I have one of these but have lost my user guide. Can't find one on line for this model. Can anyone help please.

great review, you suggested there are better options, do you have any recommendations for one that had s-video input?

@@col.johnson9938 Hope it works out for you and cheers for the positive feedback.
Hi - do you know if this supports RGB from scart lead or just the composite signal (scart leads have both)
Do you need a computer to set it up? Or can it be done straight from the console?
Hi, yes for this you do, windows.
@@techhorizon239 Ok thanks for the reply.
Just bought one. Got a £5 job off eBay previously, awful audio sync issues. Christ I hope this works..
Did you get it working lol
@@techhorizon239 just got delivered off Amazon, I'll let you know :)

The product you're talking about in this video is NOT the DIGITNOW! Video Grabber as you say in your title. So you're lying.
