I’m 10 feet in front of Asami in this footage, and the videographers have done a fantastic job of making the viewer feel the atmosphere. I can’t begin to describe it. I’d followed the band for two years and nothing was going to stop me being in that concert hall. The Bluray will annihilate your senses…in every way. The set was extremely emotional. After flying to Japan, I had a couple of days to acclimatise. I then spent the majority of the day of the gig in a queue, first for merchandise, then back around again for admission, followed by an hour musical build up..culminating in “Diamonds and Rust” Priest’s version…the traditional Lovebites warm up track. So by the time Asami performed the ultimate Diva spin, literally right in front of me, I was so hyped that the rest of the concert has become one tenth of a second in my memory. But immediately after the gig, spent of adrenaline, I crashed, feeling really down. I recovered, but a Lovebites concert is unlike any other I’ve ever been to. They are the best live act I have ever seen…truthfully, and being a female band, the atmosphere is not testosterone fuelled like your traditional metal gig. Instead you have teary moments, joyful moments and beautiful moments…like seeing Fami grin non stop for the first two or three tracks. There is nobody else in touching distance of these women, and they are the best thing to happen to music in my 63 years breathing.
To be released Aug 23rd. I've pre-ordered the Blu-ray & CD. I love what the sound engineers did with this live as compared to the prior lives. Instead of making the live almost studio quality, instead Asami's vocals are slightly echoed and not totally forward, and the mix makes the energy of the live pop out. You can still hear everything, but man the energy is next level in this one. Fami is a wonderful addition. She jammed with Midori, but the look and smile Asami gave Fami, who was beaming ear to ear, felt like a mother/daughter moment. For me personally, there is no better band than Lovebites, ever.
The production of this show is really great. Whoever is doing the lighting has got it figured out! Hi-def camera work too! Some people are not sure about the audio, but I think it is great.
I still love the classic Maiden and Priest albums but I really believe that Lovebites music is right up there with those classics and way better than some of Maiden and Priest's later albums. I will admit though that after a few missteps, Priest has more recently released some good music. Firepower is an awesome album.
good to see you back with the ladies, bobby. fami is good for lovebites, lovebites are good for fami. I believe this was the first show after two years break, last one was march 2021. it also was the first with fami, who said on her channel, that she was thinking about quitting the way of professional musician, before she heard about the bass auditions. rest is history. look at them now: so much power, determination, energy, fun and joy here. so amazing. best band.
Knockin' at Heaven's Gate releases August 23rd Bobby. Glad to see you back. You might want to check out Miyako's new Op 23 CD too, were she re-imagines some classic Metal/Rock songs as piano pieces. Also, it's time to check if Hanabie is coming close to you this summer on their US Tour.
🤘🏼🎸🥁🎤🐺❤️🔥🇯🇵🇮🇹I Love Lovebites, I would have liked to see them live in Japan but unfortunately for personal reasons I had to give up the trip, I hope they will do an international tour with concerts in Europe because I would like to see them on stage, great return, fantastic song my favourite Thank You for this reaction.
@@alekhidell Thank you, unfortunately I lost my job and the cost of a trip to Japan is very high, I will settle for the Bluray and hope for some concert of the Lovebites in Europe.
I think if the ladies want a North American tour they can have one. Someone at NA Live Nation has to be a super fan of Japanese music since even niche bands by American standards can get a tour. PassCode, alt idols that do Japanese electronicore, are coming in September for three shows. They aren't exactly the most popular band even in the Japanese rock/metal fanbase in the US.
You got to check Miyako's new personal album Etude Op 23.
🤘🏽LOVEBITES RULES🤘🏽
Yes, they're back. Some people say that they're back with a vengeance.

Amazing...just FANTASTIC ....Welkome back Lovebites i was waiting for you.
An awesome performance from an incredible group.
This show was in March and, as rumor has it, Fami still can't get the smile off her face. Can't say I blame her.
Thanks Bobby. As ASAMI said, LOVEBITES is back. The metalverse is whole again. 🤘🐺🤘

Fami has energized Lovebites and everyone in the entire building.
Fami...badasss ..
Glad to have you back supporting Lovebites! They are definitely badass! They have eclipsed Maiden & Priest as far as I'm concerned. 🤘

Hey just curious do you have any more plans for doing more Galneryus?
