As a Greek and Romanian, the balkans are actually a very peaceful place. I don’t understand how people say every country hates each other even though everyone is very friendly with each other (except for Kosovo and Serbia, or Greece and turkey.) but other than that, the balkans are a very friendly region.
As a Czech with a Bosniak friend, I object. Albania, Kosovo, Croatia, and Bosnia are done by genocide from Serbia. This is why us Czechs hate Serbs. Because we naturally love Bosnia.

Just for you to know, the 'northern part' of Libya is called Curini or Curinaica (because of Greek Mythology), the 'panhandle of Greece' is called 'Macedonia and Thrace (Macedonia (Greek) is from the start of the greek border with Albania until the middle of the greek border with Bulgaria, Thrace (western) is from the ending of Macedonia (Greek) until the greek border with Turkey, Thrace (eastern) is from the border of Greece and Turkey until Constantinople)'. I completely agree, I don't understand why so many of our people insist on hanging onto some small plot of land and have no prosperity, massive brain drain and emigration, corruption and servitude to foreign powers that only want to see us divided. For what ? "Ethnic purity ?" Aside of language groups (Slavic vs. Greek vs. Turkic vs. Romance vs. Albanian), and to a certain degree religion (Orthodoxy vs. Catholicism vs. Islam), we have such similar cultures and mindsets, and we would all literally benefit from it so much collectively. But, oh well, all we can do is pray for this future and do our best to work for our nations and make ourselves heard to create better ties, be they economic, cultural or political.
