  • Ever wonder how Rome could have over one million people way back in ancient times? The answer is simple: The Port City of Ostia which was the “mouth” of the Tiber river to the Mediterranean Sea. Join Rob and Gracelyn as they go on a journey to visit the great but often unseen archeological sight of Ostia Antica. Take a look at these former ham actors while they go on the stage of the ancient theater, have lunch near a Renaissance castle and end their day with Cocktails at the beach!

You are the best, 🎉 - so cute , entertaining and knowledgeable. I love your short videos. I love Italy and study Italian online at Duolingo.
Grazie mille per tutto che sta faccendo per noi, i turisti che amano ❤🎉 l'Italia.

Your videos are great but its both pleasure and pain to watch them as we aren't allowed to travel to Italy from the UK for holidays yet. But Rome and TE are top of my list!

We completely understand the pain of not being able to travel. It has been a tough time of it but hopefully when things start back up again, traveling experiences will be even more appreciated for everyone.

oh look, more scrumptious food and drinking the ol' vino - pretty sure your office supervisor is owed a luxurious luncheon and a number of cocktails by now ☺️

I am sure that we can have something planned for the supervisor who is also welcome to join us in our filming if she should wish.

What I love about visiting Ostia whenever I'm in Rome is...no throngs of tourists taking selfies and gawking at everything. Let's keep this place a closely guarded secret, shall we? HAHAHA!

It seems that was some kind of guard house and it had a little oven/fireplace in the corner to keep someone warm on the inside!
