I am not indian but I am thankful for the movie to show the heroic of Gurkha. Even if the Gurkhas , Asam, Kumon and garwal rifles may have divided the Nepalese speaking community in different battalion. I am thankful for the movie to show some aspect of the Nepalese indian people who gave life for their mothers. Nepal has always kept a distance yet always helped everyone. Even if the Sikh empire attacked Gurkha in Kumon. Nepalese mother send their son to defend the Sikh empire from the British. Even if other indian Kingdome rejected our request for assistance. Nepal shall always take a neutral stage. Because it a land that even made Mughal fear. Not by the bravery of Gurkha but when Mughal army who went to destroy our temple became part of Nepal. Our king said they are in my land so they are my people. Giving them place to call home and a place to worship. Never before had Mughal seen such change. People known to destroy temple. Lived an ordinary life as Nepali. In Nepal you can find the Sikh, Christan and Islam. Sikh came when Guru Nanak came to Nepal (founder) his disciple saw the peace in Nepal and stayed. A place where people can be safe. Nepal carries the flag that it has been flying over 5000 years ago. However it has shaped indian history. For example muryan empire. Chandragupta had no army or land and only partner of Chandragupta was king parvatak of Nepali Kingdome who went against entire 16 janpad of India which allied with magadh. Nepal may be small but heart of Nepali are big. This is the place where Britain made a monument to their enemy stating we are equal, a place where they saw that we even treated wounds of our enemy. This is also a place where Britain treated Gurkha wound as well. (Most famous when a Gurkha mouth was damaged by musket wound (bullet) British treated his wound by surgery. The Gurkha went back to the siege fort that had no food and water for many days. As for him he showed gesture of thank you and went back to do his duties. Even with constant canon blast and muskets foreign the in named Gurkha didn't leave his position. Even with fatal injury he stayed on. Such determination may be follish but only the fool can be the bravest. One who fear his life know the importance of it. And Gurkha do fear death but there is a dept to pay. No Gurkha wishes to die without paying his dept. To all the mother of the world I salute you. The word Gurkha it self mean protector of mothers wood. Gau rakchak ( protector of cow, cow being symbolic to mothers (as we drink it's milk), also not forgetting to mention all the gods and godess in hindisam have literally taken their position in different parts of the cow. Even in war cry it is for mother Kali, jai ma Kali ago gurkhali (gau rakchak, because ansestor of Nepali where the Gopalan (cow herdsmen).
