Hi Anie, I always start with the Floetrol or any of the pouring medium first, whether it's glue, floetrol, or pouring medium. Then I add the paint, then any water to thin if necessary, then finally a few drops of silicone but only after I thoroughly stir first. I only add a few drops of silicone, give it one swirl (don't mix it in too much) and begin to pour!
