I know exactly what Egyptology book you’re talking about. When I worked in a library, it was super popular, but most of the pockets had been wrecked. 😄 I think it’s super interesting that you can find witchcraft in basically any cultural group. Even my Appalachian and Pennsylvania Dutch ancestors had their traditions.

Welcome! So happy to have you here. I started out like anyone else - did my BA in English and realized I loved school so much that I wanted to get my MA and doctorate. I started reading fiction about witchcraft and realized there was a gap in our understanding of Victorian witches and went from there! Now I work on the literary history of witches and it’s the best thing in the world. Good luck with your studies - just follow your interests and you’ll find your path ✨🧹
