    Very nice footage of the sea and the sunset. Your relaxed way of exploring a new country / region makes a lot of sense, in opposite of offers like "Europe in 5 days!".

      Thank you so much! We 100% prefer to travel like this; just very slowly. It gives us the opportunity to immerse in a new culture and understand it a little bit better, make friends, connect with locals, etc. We left Turkey feeling like we were a little bit Turkish! And we still feel this way ❤️🇹🇷

    06:45 the fruit is called "dağ çileği" and literal translation is "mountain strawberry" (something like wild strawberry)

      @@waysoftheworld_ I had a debate with someone today that insisted that apple tea was what everyone drank and served even in stores. I said that it was cai...is cai apple tea?

    • @waysoftheworld_
      @waysoftheworld_  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      mmm we are not 100% sure. We don't think it's apple tea because we tried actually apple tea in Rize and it did not taste like regular cai. I think you should win the debate! It's not apple tea 😂

    Did you book your hotel or Airbnb ahead of time or you find better deals when you arrive to the cities in Turkiye?

    • @waysoftheworld_
      @waysoftheworld_  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Vilma! We usually book with 7-10 days in advance because we like to have some flexibility but also plan some activities/videos ahead... We've never shown up at a city without a booked accommodation. A lot of places in Tukiye (like Amasra for example) are very very popular during the Summer, so we don't recommend just showing up... Also keep in mind that Booking.com doesn't work from Turkiye unless you use a VPN. Hope this helps! :)
