Substances like psychedelics when administered temporarily and in the minimum and safe dose can save life (prevent suicide), yet..long term all of them are NOT the answer (solution to the problem). self honesty, emotional and spiritual healing (done correctly) produce safe and lasting results..health happiness, inner peace

The Trips I've been having really helped me a lot. I’m now able to meditate and I finally feel in control of my emotions and my future and things that used to be mundane to me now seem incredible and full of nuance on top of that I'm way less driven by my ego and I have alot more empathy as well

Still not a single report of “I’d do that again”.
What I can gather, is that the hallucinations are absolute. Everything visualized isn’t reality. You can’t quench your thirst. You can’t pee. You can’t see. You can’t read. You can’t talk. You basically become Hellen Keller with bladder retention.

As you can see by the reports, most are not anywhere near prepared for such an experience and should not be toying with such power. People should not fear this power, but they better respect it or there will be negative consequences. This stuff will change your view of the world forever and most of the horror stories I hear are of people trying to recreate with it......many things are dangerous if not used as intended. This is definitely one of them.

I remember when I was around 15 or 16, a group of my friends took these and all ended up hospitalized. All had similar stories and people who witnessed it said it was”crazy”. Glad I wasn’t around that day. We were all into drugs and partying back then(early to mid 90’s). We’d take lsd and shrooms often, going to underground raves, festivals, concerts. Once I heard their stories, it made me want to experience it myself, but I also recognized the sincerity in their faces when they told me not to do it. I think if it hadn’t hospitalized them and gotten them so much negative attention from so many people, I probably would have. Thankful today I “missed out”.

I had this plant growing on my yard. I let it grow in the summer because of the nice white flower that would bloom in the mornings and evenings. Today November 27, I decided to cut it down but I noticed these giant spiked balls. I went to cut one off because something was calling me to open one. I examined it and notice a cross like indentation on the top of the ball. I cut enough to peel the top off with my hands, clear liquid ozed out and on to my hands, I smelled it. The was divide into 4 chambers with seeds. It oddly looked like the human brain. The seed were brown to light brown. I was amazed at how much water was in this plant. I didn't ingest any of it but I did have a cut on my right middle finger. About 30 min later I felt high, wobbly feet with slurd speech but I was aware. I decided to look this plant up and now I know why I'm still a little high as I write this. I see some potential in this if done right. Again I didn't ingest any of it just came into contact with the liquids in the pods and the seeds. The seeds were not black and the pods were still green. Be careful though.

These flowers grew pretty close to the house I grew up with. When I was in HS an older friend of mine who was a regular drug user and frequented Erowid showed a few friends and I the plant and said we would trip if we ate a few of them. He didn’t tell us what kind of trip we would have and we didn’t ask either. Being dumb teenagers we decided to try them separately. I only ate one flower and felt an anxiety I had never felt before. Lasted hours. I didn’t hallucinate I think because I didn’t eat the seeds and only ate one flower my effects were less extreme. My friend however ate quite a few since he was more experienced with drugs at the time. He told me it was an absolute nightmare. He didn’t go into detail. Anyways great video dude good luck with your channel.

I was given seeds by a random classmate while in an art class many years ago. I decided to chew on some and tried to swallow them. I remember getting tired. About an hour later, the bell rang. I felt kind of….drunk. I got out of my seat and tried to start walking but I was stumbling instead. I realized I forgot my backpack, I turned my body around, and it felt so strange doing so. My body was not in alignment with gravity. I almost tripped as I tried to reach my backpack off of the floor. It only consisted of a binder and a few small trinkets, but when I picked it up it was too heavy and felt like it had a ton of bricks.
I was able to swing my backpack over my shoulder and stumbled on out. I was unable to control my body, I was losing control and felt very weak.
I blacked out… don’t remember how I ended up here but suddenly was sitting on a bench, at my school. It was the end of the day, a Friday, which meant we all got out of school early but most of us sat in the library to watch movies for about an hour while we waiting for the school busses to arrive. I was sitting on that bench, with no one around except for one guy, asking me if I was ok. I remember talking to him, but then I also remember him disappearing like magic.
I blacked out again. Then woke up in the library. It was dark, everyone was watching the movie and acting quite normal in my opinion. I was laying my head down in my crossed arms, trying to hide from everyone.
I blacked out again.. this time I ended up in the principals office. He confronted me about the seeds he had found in a bag. They were actually ones that I was given. Good thing I lost them.. well, he was getting very strict and I started getting very argumentative. I also became very claustrophobic and extremely thirsty and irritable, which then lead me to become violent. My body felt like it was burning and itching with agitation. I found out later this was all due to the drugs effects. I blacked out again, and then “woke up” in an ambulance. There were several firefighters tending to me and I was very angry because they refused to give me water so I became violent. I was begging for water, screaming for water. They refused and then had to put me in a straight jacket. I had never experienced this amount of irritability, thirst and anger in my life, and it was agonizing. There were reports that my body was red, puffed and swollen, while my face was as white as a ghost. Also reports that I was standing outside of the school looking like a zombie, while everyone was inside… I blacked out so much that half the things I did, I had no recollection of.
I “woke up” in the hospital, not remembering a thing. My guardian at the time was with me, asked me what I remember, I told her it was because of back pain. I was told that I was hallucinating and telling everyone to look at the helicopters flying in the room. Saying I was astounded by all the “fish swimming in the ocean on the ceiling”. I had no recollection of these memories. I started slowly remembering the small incidents from school. I was told that if I wasn’t given any water, I would have lost my life.
While sitting there in the hospital I was falling in and out of hallucinations. I was falling into a dream state but then would act out the dream in real life. I kept waking up laughing or talking while doing so in a dream. Eventually I stopped being tired and then just started seeing hallucinations elsewhere. This time I wasn’t laughing. It was like the devil was doing things to frighten me, and he had me on a whim. I knew at this time the hallucinations were not real but was astounded by the power of control this had over me. I was discharged the next day and the hallucinations stopped, but for an entire week, my eyesight was very, very blurry. I could hardly see anything clearly. Slowly my eyesight came back. One very strange thing that also occurred afterwards was that same feeling and sensation of agitation, claustrophobia and tremors I had felt from the drug. It would occur during stressful situations sometimes, but also randomly even, like during a peaceful time. My body would just suddenly get that fiery anxious sensation of panic and heat. It would happen almost weekly, then monthly, then slowly started dissipating over time…

I had a brother that was 1 year older than me that decided to go to the U.S.M.C.
He graduated 12 weeks of boot camp at M.C.R.D San Diego. He was stationed at Camp Pendleton afterwards.
I believe that he had a lot free time on his hands when he got there. Also the restrictions and discipline after boot camp makes some new recruits wild and rebellious (Gungho).
He told me that one day one of his buddies from boot camp was walking around the base at Camp Pendleton and he spotted a Datura type tree or shrub with the white trumpet shaped flowers. He told my brother that they could get high off of the seeds in the pods where the flowers had fallen off.
They went and got a couple of Coca-Colas and cut one of the pods open and dumped the seeds into the coke and drank them. He said that he walked back to his barracks aftewards and started to see muti-dimensional shapes flying colors and strange objects around him and flowers poking up out of the ground and other weird hallucinations. He said that when he turned the dial on the combination lock the lines changed colors like the Wheel of Fortune show.
He said that he sat down on his bunk and that people were talking to him and calling his name but he couldn't answer them. His sergeant called the Psych ward on base and they came and removed him from the barracks.
Not long after that I had to visit him to take some cash to him. I think that he got fined or something for whatever he did when he was high from that plant. I remember a few weeks later he went AWOL and his behavior seemed a bit off and he wasn't the same. He got arrested for being AWOL and the Marine Corps kicked him out.
I don't know if the Marines changed him or that Datura but I know that he didn't seem to be the same person anymore. He had an AA degree before BC and could have kept going to school but after that experience with that plant I think it changed him. He didn't go back to college or work much after coming home. He got on crack and got hit by a car and killed some years later.
I don't think a person should risk their sanity on a whim. You might not make it back to reality. Honestly I felt like my brother had a death wish after all of that happened to him. He was not the same person I used to know.

I did Datura in 1986. This is a true story we all drank a brew made from boiled seeds. Once in my trance state I smashed twenty glasses then proceeded to walk on broken glass for two hours in the kitchen. I was pulling one inch pieces of glass out of my feet like nothing. There was blood every where. I took a plastic bowl put it on the stove then turned the stove on cause a huge fire. Then I knocked over a plant and tried to smoke the dirt thinking it was hash. In the end a girl found all three of us naked crawling on the street completely lost till we finally woke up from out journey. My eyes were out of focus for two days. We never knew how much to do, so we probably drank to much. never would I recomend this drug to anyone.

Datura Is used in certain shamanic concoctions of northern Mexican Indians it is mixed with peyote buttons magic mushrooms and tobacco, ground into a powder put into a leather pouch and buried for weeks then it is smoked in a pipe it is said to enable the Sharman to speak with powerful entities from other dimensions and dead ancestors

I took about 200 when I was 19. I didn't know any better and was very naive. The dry mouth first hit and drinking water was like inhaling sand. I could not swallow or pee. I felt sick and laid in bed. I got up out of bed and ran to the bathroom and then, I got up out of bed to go to the bathroom and then, I got up out of bed to use the bathroom. After reliving this repetitive action over and over, I realized something was wrong. I ran to the kitchen but, I dropped a thumbtack and the thumbtack bounced and multiplied into infinite thumb tacks bouncing off the floor and multiplying. I immediately panicked because I was barefooted. Instantly, I'm standing in front on my stove with a plastic pitcher on the burner. It was a metal pot in my world. My girlfriend realized I was acting weird. I never told her about the seeds. She didn't know I was fully immersed in a hallucination. She stopped me from melting the plastic container and questioned me about my behavior as a van full of middle eastern men with guns pulled into my driveway. I panicked and started saying that I need my gun. I found my ak 47 and started to load a clip into it. Only problem was that I didn't own a gun. I had picked up my infant son thinking he was my gun. My GF is flipping out. I light up an invisible cigarette and started stripping my clothes off. My GF called my mom and she rushed over and realized I was tripping and stopped my GF from calling 911. I don't remember anything after that except when it started wearing off and I kept slipping in and out of hallucinations which was traumatic. Realizing that I can't control the trip and that I would be immersed fully in hallucinations made me extremely panicky. My mom says that I sat in the bathroom floor, cross legged, talking to someone named Jim. I have no idea who Jim is. She said I just kept talking about jibberish for hours. It finally wore off the next morning completely in time for me to go to work. I went to work, faked being sick and got sent home and fell asleep.

@@NewFalconerRecords It's called an archetype. Humans have remarkably similar brain chemistry which is why there's all these universal motifs in hallucinogenic trip experiences. Same reason people see jesters on DMT, snakes on ayahuasca, conveyer belts on salvia, mantid entities on LSD or gnomes and aliens on psilocybin.
Tobacco and Datura are botanically related as well, they're both nightshades. They also have opposing effects on the cholinergic system in the brain. Nicotine could conceivably, possibly help counter the dementing effects of datura through mechanisms relating to acetylcholine.

Read a story from another dude that ate 70-120 seeds which was far too much quite apparantly.
He went to take a piss and afterwards saw a shadow in the mirror take the shape of a childhood friend that frozen like a statue had a flood of insects come from his mouth, when he got into the living room his sitter was "gone", the furniture was in the ceiling and people he knew was all around the room, he fell onto the ceiling and when he woke up with his friend he was puring water into his mouth, no, it was fire, and his friends face was that of a demon, he struggled and ran outside, there was no street outside his house but a forest, he ran into it, his family was following him, started talking to his uncle that told him his wife and children were dead, sadness came over him and he fell down, everyone laughing at him, he shrunk into the moss and dirt, then ran through the grass straws the size of giant trees until a rat found him and ate him whole, he was then digested in its foul stomach, and that was the last he remembered.
20 hours he slept in the hospital bed, his friend who had tried to keep up with him had searched the streets while he was apparantly trying to hotwire cars and got nearly run over multiple times, he was found in an alley covered in his own puke with a concussion.
He now apparantly have occasional nightmares, hear strange whispers like curses in foreign tongues and need contacts to see properly... And would probably do it again in a smaller dose xD

While driving met a guy thumbing a ride on the road side, so picked up and gave him a lift, he was not going far so took him on a journey to the next town and dropped him off there, on the way he told me of his trip in India, where we was sitting with babas smoking chillums, and they offered some to him, that also had datura in it as well as the usual charis, he said he had an astral projection out of body experience that lasted two years before he could get back in to his body again, and was never the same again after that experience..... everyone may have a different trip .. just good to be aware of possible outcomes of journeys and whether one might want to pass on this one.... another guy I knew smoked some datura leaves and said he was surrounded by monkeys and jumped (literally) through his glass bay windows trying to escape, lucky he was on the ground floor and ended up in the garden, cut bruised and battered, but still alive, needless to say he didn't touch it again.....sounds like hard core experiences not for the faint hearted, like the guy who died taking datura with Ayahuasca.....these things happen.... there's no guarantee what might happen....rather explore the heights of meditation than substance abuse, enlightenment far superior to blowing your mind to bits on drugs that one may never recover from..... besides they can only ever take you to the lower planes of perception, sure you see more, yet only hallucinations, and there is so much more to explore in the realms of consciousness that only meditation can take you to and drugs can never touch....each to their own. Be safe!

The "Chumash Painted Cave" just north of Santa Barbara has multiple seed pod and flower motifs in red on the cave wall. Look up images of this cave online. One of the visual effects is a halo of white dots surrounding an image and many cave painting motifs show these halos of dots.

It’s sooooooo crazy when you do it the right way and do a TON of it and drop the 80x drops over 10 times in the gravity bong cherry while it’s already a 160x half gram extract your pulling in the hit. Ohhhh shit I’d love to type out the whole experience for you to help grow your channel and bring people potentially to my channel to check out my music about drug stories and getting clean

In the Philippines some people smoke or drink datura, overdosing makes you crazy, permanently.
Some starts running like naruto for several days, but no one reported scary trippings, old folks cure datura overdose by surprise splashing cold water to the person.
Datura is not illegal, it is used as pain killers by Albuyalaryos (Shamans) and in other things as well. I just don't know the difference in effects of datura in each environment they grow

ERROWIDS shared enough horror stories to keep me away. But one time, I collected probably about 3 pods, wanting to replant somewhere. Barehanded I pulled the seeds out to collect. They were covered with a moist feel. And a bit later, I felt really nice and calm, like floating on clouds. It was such a nice feeling. A vague pleasant out there. I really enjoyed it but let me tell you, after that? I wore medical gloves when handling any mushrooms, and questionable plants, realizing how things absorb through the skin. Whatever that oily feel on the seeds I would try again, but no more than 3 pods. WOW! NICE SHARE. SAVED A LOT OF TRAUMA, FOR THOSE WHO JUST MIGHT REGRET SOME EXTREME TASTE OF TERROR!

It is a good admixture plant to Ayahuasca ... Helps to dissolve into the journey much easier .... That being said it is a small dose and those who consume Datura (scopolamine ) often take way to much ... I have enjoyed the spirit and energy of it in my shamanic journeys ... I even had a bath in it with other added herbs and flowers ( the bath was a lot stronger then I thought it would be 🥴) if requires proper shamanic initiatory journeys before doing diving into Datura, I have even had mandrake and that I don't recommend 😂😂😂😂 I barely survived that one

Just sit there to contemplate it all after you come back because you're gonna see such
crazy and radical things in these trips. That when you come back you're gonna be like what the fuck was that? And you're gonna spend a week just in the shower, what the fuck was that? Cooking your food, what the fuck was that? Driving to work, what the fuck was that? Sitting at work doing your work, what the fuck was that? Thinking that. Trying to wrap your mind around it. Try to remember and trying to figure it out and that's a very valuable process.
