I think 4096px resolution is unnecessary...that is, if the creator's goal is to make it playable and not just look at nice textures with slow FPS. My pack has a resolution of 512px and that seems sufficient for a smooth game. This video is old and not very smooth. I'm a developer for Bedrock and just started with the JAVA version.
The key is to get texture packs in lower but still clear resolutions and combine them with shaders that arent super taxing that have the POM features and good shadows + saturation. I have a 3060ti and run equivalents of this at around 60 to 120fps on multiplayer servers
1024px is only good for screenshots and details, but not for smooth gameplay. That's why there is no 1024px version. It originally existed, but I had an email full of questions why the HD version is almost unplayable? Since HD is in 512px I haven't received a single email 🤗
In most of my JAVA videos you can see a piece of gameplay... I don't use any Camera addons. You can find a lot of gameplay videos with the Bedrock version, but not much with the JAVA version... i'll try to make some👍
This is with SEUS HRR3. PBR and POM you need enable in shader settings. For POM you need shader with support POM...but most shaders support this. First step is to get texture pack with PBR and And POM support 👍
I used the SEUS HRR3 for this video. That depth is made by POM on. Most of the better shaders have support for POM. But you have to turn it on in the shader settings 👍

Kinda wish there was way to remove those lines in the edges, the problem is in every texture pack so i guess its just a problem that cant be fix
lowering the parallax depth can help if you don't mind it being less noticeable
It's minecraft. Everything is supposed to be formed of delineated cubes.
Check Nvidia settings enable negative lod.
