When I’m trying something new, I always dose the target area with some vanilla extract, it typically works well, I’ve even had deer feeding in a new location the very same day using extract.
I find feeders are a great way to entice raccoons and then exterminate them. We have some high rates of rabies in my area so I stay on top of the raccoons.
I have had two Boss Bucks and sold me on the cheap to whoever did not care that rats and other vermin will chew through the ports and even the top like it is butter. IMO it is poor material for serious deer herd deep woods. I wanted to be a fan but if it gets low or runs out, the rats will attack it like a cocaine addict and chew it up.

😂🤣😂🤣 that’s good info thank you!
I havnt had that issue at my place yet
the holes probably didn't fit because you may not have lined up the slot on the feeder neck to the slot on the feeder hopper.
I spun it around with no luck! You made me second guess my self😅 so I rechecked haha
Will this run corn or only protein
Yes sir it will run corn
@@CliftonDenneyOnYourOwnOutdoors I’m confused bc they sell a 200lb feeder for protein and corn. Then a 200lb corn feeder. Makes no sense.
@@JayN4GO man nooo idea lol
What size pipe are the legs??? (1", 1 1/4",.....)

@@CliftonDenneyOnYourOwnOutdoors Thanks!
