Noooo not Hit and Run but The Simpsons Game of 2007, a game that isn't afraid to tackle the lack of Preservation of gaming over the last 3 decades.

wish I'd played this. It's funny how deep the simpsons gets when they talk about memory because of how they have changed and stretched what The Simpsons is. Have you seen Jacob Geller's "The Best Simpsons Intro Is About Losing Everything You Love" very good, feels spiritually related to this essay. Anyway, this was a phenomenal watch.

I played the fuck outta this in its day on PS2 and then later 360. I had no idea it was by Visceral games. I somehow missed all of deadspace happening but turns out EA still hurts you where it counts even when you don't realize it.
Loved this game as a kid. I had it for ps2 and still remember finally beating it just before going out with my family.

This was my favourite game when I was a kid. Even though a lot of people say Hit & Run is better, I prefer this one and I wish it was remastered on XB1
I remember there was a lot of hype when this game came out. The developers made a countdown website parodying the countdown for the then new GTA IV

Wow, what a damn beautiful video that I did not expect to see from this. I had The simps9ns Arcade on 360, but I saw that it's not installed anymore, so hopefully, I can reinstall even though it got removed from the store, apparently.
This video does give insight on the choices of which games deserve to be remembered and for me my top choices are Scooby Doo Mystery Mayhem, SpongeBob Lights Camera Pants, Pokemon Stadium 1 and 2, Pokemon Black and White, Super Metroid and Mario Kart Double Dash. It also makes me think about how it’s best to point out flaws of games in a positive light such as how to make them better and more fun for people to make the game makers listen and understand the dark truth about corporate greed which is the case of the Suicide Squad game.

I remember playing SImpsons arcade in little ceasers for birthday parties. Then on Playstation 3 it came out for consoles. Years later it was completely removed and only available for people who owned it.
It's so sad. I would love a Simpsons game collection from the NES games all the way to this 2007 one to just all be released. Someone needs to buy all the rights to the various ip's and team up with Fox to make it happen.
Simpsons was definitely a huge part of my upbringing and I'll always love playing the games, I might just dust off the 360 and start playing classics again.
I only have very few modern games that I cherish and care for, but there are so many classics that never feel old to me. I believe many of us share that same sentiment.
All Xbox had to do was keep their digital crap where it is but let us put any disc we own into the console.
Maybe on next gen idk.
BTW on Xbox check out the digital store they have a ton of digital xbox arcade games on the series X I was shocked at how many classics were on there.
Too bad none of the really great ones still like Tony Hawks pro skater HD or The Warriors arcade game.
Man Xbox Arcade had so many great games but yet they still haven't made all of them backwards compatible.
It's a true shame, it really is.

THANK YOU!! 13:00 I just made a rant about this, they could have tuned up the classic RE 3 as dlc for the remake.
Also when I saw the Summer Game Fest leak, it said Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 'REMASTERS' and I got so excited only to find out its the Remakes that got remastered....
They were ok but nothing will ever replace the feeling and fun that I had playing the ps1 versions :/

I remember playing this game on the Wii, and watching that Medal of Homer parody trailer back in the day.
Played this game a ton on the ps2 but never beat it, when i got to the specific part i couldn't beat i would just restart and play again lol
I wonder if it was the flying air ship part? Because even now its brutal!
I remember having a hard time passing the air ship! But no it was the dance with God, I had never seen that type of gameplay before and I could never figure out how to do it. haha

All joke aside, I wasn't expecting the whole deep "never leave art behind" thing. This isn't the first time the simpsons has this big, deep message in a episode with a simple start, to put this in a game, damn. That was a beautiful video and fantastic presentation.

I think so? I know the 360 version is the "best" but I was talking to a friend and he said it wasn't mich different overall!
It's pretty much the same outside of a few very minor changes in level layout, and the Springfield open world is missing

Dead Space 'remake' but no Dead Space 4? What is with their priorities? 1 and 2 weren't my thing but I loved 3 and have been eagerly waiting for a continuation.
Edit: Sorry I don't mean to sound negative about the remake but why can't we have both?
I'll admit the story had me confused most of the time as there are no defined stakes. Kang and Kodos barely make an impact, Sideshow Bob gets tossed away very quickly, and the end cutscene had me scratching my head.
I love the simpsons game it needs to come back or a sequel needs to be made I know this is is wishful thinking
Having played it in the past when My ps2 worked I enjoyed the game because it was good
It costed me fourthy,, dollars a long time ago but I love the levels and dialog my only complaint has to do with length I wish it was much longer and had more mini games
Surprisingly the other characters I wanted to play us wasn't a option at all
When loading the game
Mr burns apu and grandpa simpson Krusty and side show thats not even half the characters
