they will have to provide you with tracing paper, its part of the exam. if they dont complain straight to your exam board. in my exams they always state we may ask for tracing paper if we would like it at any point in the exam.
if I described a shape as rotating 270 degrees would that still get a mark? if it was in the correct direction? or does it always have to be either 90 or 180?
Hi. At the moment I have no idea. I make the content in my free time, which varies a lot. I wish to cover more GCSE topics first to try and cover the specification but I will move to A level as soon as I can.

You are allowed access to tracing paper in GCSE maths exams.

You can do this yes, as long as it is correct. So 90° anticlockwise is the same as 270° clockwise. I just think it's easier to stick to 90.
