I'm really happy with my decision to upgrade from the Civic FC to the Proton X70! After years of waiting for the perfect SUV within my budget, it feels like it was truly worth it. The X70, with its advanced features like the updated infotainment system, smooth ride, and safety upgrades, really stands out. I’m excited about the spacious interior, improved handling, and overall comfort. I hope these enhancements will bring a lot of joy to my family on all our future trips. Couldn’t have made a better choice! P/s : This is the only youtube video that make me smile at the end after watching it.
Same feeling bro. I've been searching for the perfect SUV for the past 1 year to upgrade from my 10 year old Honda City. This new X70 finally excites me that I placed a booking without even doing a test drive. After seeing this video, I'm glad that I made the right choice.
@@mdnajib5804 i test drive corolla cross, tiggo 7, tiguan, the new crv and others mpv within this 2 years 🥲. I even test drive my friend x70 se 😂. Like aiman says, each of the suv hold their value differently. i think it my destiny to be an owner of a X70. Anyway, congrats bro for your new X70.
How's the fuel consumption & driving experience? As an FC owner, the sedan lower seating position didn't provide the needed comfort to my family (hyperactive kids) & elderly parents. But appreciate the performance, comfort ride+handling balance, it's frugality, integrated infotainment function (easy to switch using steering buttons), and rock solid reliability (peace of mind). So these might be compromised when replacing it with X70? How did u overcome that.
@@iskhalifahsalam bro, i just received the car last thursday. So still waiting after 1000km 1st services before checking of the fc. Anyway my biggest consideration on choosing x70 after the civic is the comfort as in overall especially with the adjustable rear seat. Storage wise, im able to fit all of my camping gear and road bike. 1 thing that make me overcome the fear is that i have 1 friend that using x70 se and from his feedback and asking him on how hes been taking care of his x70 for 2 years and deals with an issue. Plus now there is many local workshop able to provide good repair and services. Especially in KV area. The support from x70 community also contribute greatly upon my decision.
FINALLY! Been waiting for a full review of this car from Aiman for so long! At this price, this car is really no brainer but like Aiman said, we no longer need to justify the car's shortcomings just because its cheap. I feel the X70 is now objectively a proper competitive C-Seg SuV than can go head-to-head with the segment heavyweights like the CRV, CX5 and Forester. Wish there's a proper comparison video among the C-Seg SUVs in our market.
I won't buy this car until they change the entire chassis as what they use in China (think something similar to TNGA etc), and a 4 cyclinder turbo engine which is standard in China. A new Chassis will drop the weight to 1.6 tons instead of the current 1.8 tons, which is why its so bloody thirsty.
Exactly, we need a proper comparison video with all of C-Segment offerings in Malaysia. Car reviewers are pretty vague about comparisons, I mean it is understandable I guess.
@@EarthyLee Bro, I checked the car's brochure. The current model IS 1.6 tons. Not 1.8 like u mention. That's par for the course for the C-segment. The CR-V is also 1.6 tons. The Forester is lighter at slightly over 1.5 tons.
@@EarthyLee bro, x70 is using tgna from the first ckd rebatch back from 2018. This x70 is only the design outdated from the latest Geely. The rest still same
Had mine for just over a month now. Very nice car. ICC is almost useless. Not smooth, brakes violently gap to car in front way more than manual says. Still waiting for Apple CarPlay.
@@mdnajib5804 tbh I was just looking for driver cabin space, I'm 6'5 and the X70's cabin felt smaller than the Tiggo 7. Still I didn't want to make a mistake getting a Chery, when it comes to RV, service cost and such.

@achekholbeckal889 not safe. Saw an axia skidded out of control and crashed into a divider before going airborne and landed upside down on road shoulder.
Bought one unit after good review. Received a unit with vibration that's worse than my myvi. Complained to Proton, Proton has no available slot for inspection. What a Joke. Might as well went with other China's brand. Regret to the max.
Power / handling / ride comfort (suspension) / NVH…given strictly these criterias…which would be the best buy between the X70, Haval H6 and the Jaecoo J7? @aiman
From a similar price point Haval H6 is more practical being better acceleration from zero up to 150, and it sips fuel (it travels further in a single fuel tank). If you have the budget go J7 as its another level up. However if you want assured after sales service and parts, go X70, its still not a bad car.
@@77angst The Haval H6 is a very popular car in China, Thailand and even Australia. It's also a larger and IMO a better looking car. But when I tested it, I was very disappointed with the comfort level. The front seats are hard and the back seats are too upright.

Same here... upgrading my FC civic to X70....
The new suspension is really impressive, cornering confident is awesome.
I am very happy that a few brand new cars from China, to bring down the prices of new, with better quality from China, with longer warranty

this is A class review.. 1st time heard of this channel… impressive!! sub!!
Clear and concise. Very good review from the presenter
How's the engine refinement and suspension pliancy over rougher surfaces.
Yeah, i want to know this too
hows the boot space?
please do CRV Hybrid
so you will choose X70, Tiggo 7 Pro or J7?
J7 obviously as it has AWD and various terrain control. For those who have extra budget, go for J7 or the coming soon J7 PHEV or Jaecoo C9.
X70 or tiggo 7 ?

Time for KommuAssist then. Never been happier

Kat mana pasang aftermarket IHU tu bos? Ada AAAC tak? 😋

for family, its very competitive n good, only pls bring the apple carplay to real Proton.
