- Eating crickets and catfish is the perfect way to spend a catch, cook and camp...................yea, right 🤮 The catfish was good, the crickets tasted, well, like how you would expect insects to taste. We did have a great time though camping on the Snake River in Idaho! I hope y'all enjoy these catch, cook and camp videos!

Most people don't realize how good catfish really is. My mom makes The best nuggets you could ever come across. At 84yrs young she still has the best southern cooking I've ever eaten. I'm not just saying that because she's my mom. She actually has a hand written cook book made herself. I may just try and publish it someday.

I’m from Georgia and I love to catfish. The catfish that you were calling green or yellow are channel cats and the more grey ones are blue cats. Blue cats are known for tasting better at least around where I live.

The "IM FREE" had me crying with laughter especially with the slow motion and how he was like "WEEEEEEEEE"
A couple of things.
1. If you are fishing with crickets, worms, etc you need a much lighter rod. Reason being so you don't have to use weights.
2. You should switch over to braided lines.
3. You just need to know how to cook a larger catfish. You do not filet and such like a crappie, you cut them into steaks.

Just a cooking suggestion I have, if you let the bacon get crispy and then put the fish in, it will turn out even better! My 4 year old son and I love your videos. By the way, Minnesota and Wisconsin are great places to fish, with a wide variety of types of fishing to do, from the Great Lakes and the Mighty Mississippi to the smaller rivers, streams, and lakes flowing throughout the land. Think about it?
