Hate to say it... But people still hate Pearl. For obvious reasons. My boyfriend is one of those people and uses it to tease me. I, however, think Pearl is a wonderful, Chaotic Princess. She's fun.

They...can't? Splatoon is literally a fictional game, they can't just magically make inklings and octolings in real life unless they use cosplay or something (but that removes the original charm that the holograms have so it doesn't really help that much)
Do you not understand that, as the above commenter said, they can’t make it realistic since these are fictional characters? This is as close to “real” as they can get. Technology unfortunately hasn’t advanced enough to make robots that can move like this for concerts and cosplay would, as anbell said, remove the charm the holograms have.
