- In this latest WWE 2K20 video we're taking a look at all of the Superstars included on the roster that appeared in last years game and comparing their models and ratings to see what has changed and who has improved.
The side by side comparison also makes it really easy to pick out the changes, or in certain cases, the lack of changes that have been made.

Personally I think Pete Dunne looks awful this year, whereas Tamina looks a lot better.

Out of all the superstars in 2K20 I personally think Alicia Fox has the best model whereas Finn looks the worst.
Becky Lynch has to be juiced due to the power ranking. 96???? That's higher than anyone in 2K19. She's unbeatable unless you Sim her loses.

It's because of the power rankings in game (I don't know why it's still a thing) but the higher a wrestler is on the power rankings the higher overall rating they have hence Zack Ryders 89 rating
I'm still shocked how he has even made it into the game because he's had about 4 televised matches in about 2 years.

Could you imagine waking up in the middle of the night. You sense a shadowy figure in the corner of your room. You get up and nervously turn the light on and see that fucking face staring back at you? Nightmare fuel.
Even worse they downgrade the model, they recycle most of the models from previous game and retexture them to look different that's why I don't believe every game they release are improving the models
She looks like a wax statue version of herself that spent an hour in a heat wave. I haven't seen a character model that bad since Dana Brooke 2K17

Kane should be overpowered, that's the point of his character. I heard they also cut the 1998 classic version of Kane so that must be it. I won't be surprised if some of his moves are gone too.

Its because these overalls are from universe mode where Zack is high up in power rankings. His default overall in exhibition is much lower.

Last one I didn’t purchase was SvR 2009, the one that didn’t include legends. This one is looking even worse. It’s an incomplete modern roster, they removed a ton of legends, and DLC is just fantasy nonsense. Nothing about this game interests me.

Everyone knows the ratings are Kayfaybe and based on how much TV time someone gets. Becky, Kofi, Roman, they're the top stars so they're obviously getting the higher Overalls. Hawkins, Ryder, No Way Jose, they lose a bunch or barely appears so they're getting low ratings.
Pretty much all liked more female 2019 and the guys, some look better and some don't. This game does not look better at all.
The good thing is Jeff hardy has face paint

Samuel Muro so i should do their job for them? Hm let’s see you can’t change poses unless you create alternate attires and there are 190 plus wrestlers so i have to make alternate attires for 190 plus wrestlers just so i can have different poses that developers could have easily done. Makes sense 🤔

I'm pretty sure the 2K20 overalls in this video are from universe mode with power ranking stat boosts because Adam Cole is listed as 90, but his real overall is only 84. Same with Becky, she's only 90 but appears as 96 in here.
Wow I absolutely love a game where Xavier woods, Becky Lynch, and Zack Ryder can all beat the undertaker in rating!

It’s just that Visual Concepts was blind sided and completely unprepared for Yukes absence. FACTS
It's sad that the ONE YEAR the women are being showcased there's THIS many issues about the game. If the women are to be highlighted, I'd make sure they're seen in the BEST way possible. Should be no excuse.

@@MasterDarius24 they really did. I want to still get the game, but my eagerness to get it as of now isn't where it used to be over the past few years. And I've been pre-ordering WWE games since SvR 2011.
The worst offender is that 2k19 actually was an improvement after a few lackluster ones... and now, we got female Career and Showcase, but Yuke's quit midway so some moves are cut, animations are glitching, the code is unfinished and lighting is off.
@@KasumiRINA it gives me 2K15 vibes all over again and I got both PS3 and Xbox One versions. I mean it's not THAT bad, but with the growing pains of 2K doing it on their own without Yukes it's like they're building from scratch mostly.

Some models are a pleasant surprise thanks to the lighting changes and some are...well...yeah they’re there! Thanks for the video and honestly I have high hopes for 2k21! Hopefully a new release date and I play a lot of NBA 2k GM Mode and it’s fantastic so I can see them bringing that back since it’s just 2k working on it!
I honestly cannot tell the difference between them apart from some having different hairstyles or more or less facial hair.

You know you've had a bad year when your last years rating is better....
I think the issue might be is the very dark unusual shadows on most models on 2k20. Also giving them individual poses might do the trick
If you're checking through Universe mode like I think you are, then some are inaccurate. Cole was told he was an 84, but due to power rankings his overall likely spiked, so it's a 90. Yeah I know you didn't have too much time for footage hearing about everything that happened but still idk if it's right to really compare inflated overalls

I don't get the hype behind ratings. I've always built someone up as I continued to use them. Lashley has a 100 rating in my 2K19 Universe mode.

Katleho Sheleng they cut the legends roster in half. Even retro Kane is gone and current Kane is still outdated and does not have the Royal Rumble 2018 attire.
Observations: hair & beards look better in 2k20, but hair Physics works better in 2k19 apparently
They will likely update physics with patches. Multiple times. Models, not so much. So that can be an improvement in perspective: we all kinda got that 2k20 gonna suck on day one. Because it's unfinished.

It's a mixed bag to me some look better than last year while others went down a step but nothing I can't deal with.
It’s about 50/50 on better vs worse. Like you can see what yikes probably had finished before they cut out

Better. Hairlines, jawlines, skin and hair look more accurate. Yes, the game has its major drawbacks but graphically, they look more accurate. This comparison was much needed.
Here's something some people should consider: 2K19 was the peak graphically for WWE 2K games this Console Generation, they aren't going to get any better just how in the previous Console Generation they peaked with WWE '12.

Look at other games graphically, this doesn't hold a candle next to them. A lot of these models looks terrible especially Edge's.

I’d say overall, most everyone looms better this year. There are a couple anomalies that I think are scanner and scale related. It looks like everything shrunk this year and it had some weird effects on the face. The smaller their face in real life, the more cross-eyed they tend to look.
It’s like a few years ago when the face shaping got improved and we realized how weirdly square Nikki Bella’s jaw was
It would of been great if they had a weekly update changing state to current form, like fifa does with football teams.

The hair and skin detail are so much better (sweat, skin tone, blemishes, veins etc.)
BUT... The facial features, what happened? They all look like they're there because of the Wish foundation.
Honestly looks like TNA IMPACT but less grainy and that looked great in 2008 but it's almost 2020 and we've took a step back as a whole when it comes to this game, although they seem to have depended on the creation suite this year, so i hope the game is fun and there's a huge influx of creations, especially for Caws and not just for arenas.

Looking at this I no longer want the game. You can see that some of the 2K20 Models where done by Yukes before they left cause they look equal to or better than last year. But the overall majority of the models in 2k20 I believe were done by the new dev and they look like severe downgrades, like a lot of them look like models for a PsVita game, a early PS3/Xbox 360 game. That coupled with the fact that 2K19 had glitches that I tolerated but I can imagine the amount of glitches this game is going to have. If I get this it will be when they are selling it for $20.

Yes.
Some of them do look about the same, but then you have some of the 2k19 looking better than 20. And some of 2k20 looking better than 19 it's a mixture of the two.

The graphics look pretty good still. It's just the hair needs to be fixed. The physics. Hopefully they send an update to fix it. And the targeting system.

I agree. But this is what I don’t understand. In 2k15 and 2k16 they had real pictures of the wrestlers. Then Starting from 2k17 and on they gave us these cartoonish looking models like we are still playing on the ps2. I don’t understand this. Why would they downgrade the models of the wrestlers from previous years. You would think by now they would be crystal clear authentic, realistic looking pictures. But no it has gotten worse
