Melbourne is a nice city but the weather can be horrible! Sydney is so much better. Sydney has the best beaches in the world - for a major capital city. Superannuation is compulsory which is about 12% of your gross salary paid by the employer. My wife and I have AUD $1.2M combined in superannuation at current the age of 50. Imagine the value of this balance at a return of ~7% p.a. compounded over the next 10-15 years?!

Hi Tika, working conditions is pretty good but make sure your employer contributes to your Super. They’re some shit bosses. Worried you might end up with nothing when working visa expired
