Congratulations Crystal! I used layers of newspaper and packing paper for my no dig bed. I did it in the fall last year and planted in spring. Not all the grass had died so I lined with paper around my plantings. It definitely works really good and I think it makes the soil healthier too. I'm excited to see what you do with a blank space. Good luck.

Roses are good for blooming pretty much all summer thru fall.
Knockout roses are definitely on my wishlist! 😍
