      Literally just freeze them. You don’t need to watch a video for a 30 second google search.

      I turn inside out and spray with white vinegar and let air dry. Once they air out and don’t hold a vinegar smell, I throw them in the freezer in a jumbo ziploc bag for 1 day. I only do this once per quarter and do spot treatments as needed if I ever spill anything on them.

    5:50 ... *Marcel*: I am SO glad you're finally wearing Levis. I've been watching your videos for years and I have never seen you wear actual Levis jeans on your legs in a clip. You need to definitely do a "brand video" where you talk about Levis and wear different fits like the roomier fit you showed above, but also 512, 510, 511, the iconic 501, 505 and others. You talk about thrifted goods, so I can also see you making another video about how to find Levis in secondhand stores, too, not just new. Also, the Made & Crafted line could be a video, Levis Vintage Clothing could be a video. There's so many Levis videos you can make. You should definitely approach Levis and do that. I would be very curious to see you in Levis, because it's my favorite brand and YOU would look good in more Levis, dude!

    Hi, Marcel. I've found your channel just a week ago and totally like it !
    I have a request based on my own circumstances ( and a lot of other guys I believe ) : to shoot a video about style for short guys ( as I see you are tall ). For example, pretty often you're wearing coats, but for me, who is 1,72cm it doesn't seem like a good match, I'm only gonna look shorter))
    Don't know will you read it or not, but thanks anyway, love your videos ! :)

    Love the videos Marcel. Recent subscriber. Would appreciate ideas on outfits for an Executive of an IT company. Getting tired of the tie-less suit look. Don’t feel comfortable enough to dress down to these casual looks even though it’s what most of the employees wear. Looking for ideas that still set me apart as an exec while branching out from the typical corporate look.

    I agree with buying leather new. It's really difficult to find vintage leather coats in good shape while thrifting BUT I have found some righteous after Christmas sales where leather coats were cheap. One year I got one for $25.00!!!!🙌. Also agree with spending more on a good shoe. For me , nothing is worse than an ill fitting shoe especially an athletic shoes. When it comes to athletic shoes I still go to the mom and pop brick and mortar stores where I get expert advice on a shoes that fit my feet. I have high arches...I disagree with spending big money on jeans and topcoats. You can get awesome topcoats from the 40's and 50's from thrift stores for a max of $25.00. They are usually real wool or wool blend and have excellent craftsmanship and detailing. Just make sure the shoulders and arms are a good fit. Also look at linings and pockets for wear and tear. Buttons can be EASILY replace if missing or cracked. Jeans can be bought at Goodwill for $2.00-$5.00 a pair and as long as they're not too small can be manipulated in many ways to fit your look/profile. ❤️ your vlogs as they always provide me with ideas and make me think about clothing with a purpose. 💯🙌⭐🍾

    In my experience there's a sweet spot regarding price that's worth spending because you still get much more quality than with budget clothing. That sweet spot is NOT 730$ for a coat though. I really don't think a piece that expensive will last you twice as long as a 365$ coat - which isn't exactly cheap either.

    • @bigvanvader3122

      You're spreading bullshit.
      Maybe you should read up on quality and why things are priced the way they are. You're essentially saying a pair of Thursday Boots for instance are worth just as much in quality as a pair of Gaziano and Girling.

    • @klauskinski4060
      @klauskinski4060 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bigvanvader3122 No need for cursing, bud. I'm not talking about quality. I'm talking about utility. Of course a higher price will get you a better quality in most (!) cases. But if quality is the only thing you take into consideration, you forget most of the equation.

    What size do you wear for coach mujer jacket?

  • @thomasdc2439
    @thomasdc2439 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    where you should spend more money?
    1. leather boots/shoes which can be resoled and fixed easily (check this first before you buy!). Then you can keep them for your entire life and you will also never grow out. Btw, you can’t resole Dr. Martens ;). At least not that easily.
    2. clothes with organic or "toxic free" fabric for everything that directly touches your skin. I would never buy (t-)shirts and underwear without an oeko-tex100 or organic label.
    3. In case you live somewhere with a real winter/fall, buy a good quality scarf/gloves/etc. You might also keep them forever if you don’t go crazy with the style.
    my opinion for the other stuff:
    1. jeans - well, they will fall apart anyway. So buy what you like and what you can afford. Don’t expect to wear them forever. Fixing jeans is possible but will be visible and might not match your style anymore.
    2. overcoats - depends if you are still growing (e.g. because you're lifting ;)) or cutting or not. And it depends where you live. If you live in a place where you need a coat only from time to time, don’t waste too much money on it. I’ve upsized my overcoat already twice. And I’m glad I didn’t buy an expensive one from the beginning :D.
