Red Arrows Visit Prestwick Airport June 2015

- Hi all. On Friday 19th & Saturday 20th June 2015 the Red Arrows visited Prestwick. This was due to them displaying down south at Whitehaven, after which they then stayed overnight. It was a bit of a rush to get to the Airport for the First Arrival on Friday as School only finished an hour earlier. The Red Arrows Landed at Prestwick just after 16:00 Local Time arriving from RAF Scampton which is where the Red Arrows are Based. The Red Arrows then on the ground for about 2 Hours having some Tea and Biscuits before departing to display at Whitehaven at 18:30 Local Time. At 19:30 Local Time they arrive back at Prestwick however not all at once. The first 4 Arriving back were Reds 6 to 9, followed about 10 Minutes later by Reds 1 to 5. Day 2 of their visit was a bit of an early start for the weekend. up at 07:30 to catch the 09:00 Local Time Departure, however this was not what happened. I arrived at the Airport around 08:30 to be informed they were delayed until at least 10:00 which ended up being until 12:15 Local Time due to the very low cloud base. This led to a lot of flypasts and an Airshow Display being cancelled. The weather was fine at Prestwick and RAF Scampton around 11:00, it was just on the way to their flying displays and Flypasts. At 12:15 Local Time Red 10 was the first to leave followed by 3 sets of 3 which were Reds 1 to 9. This I say isn't my best of filming as I never filmed a flypast with the new Camcorder. Anyways enjoy the video.
