I’m sorry she’s not at all what she was advertised as. That is insanely disappointing and honestly fraudulent. Such a shame. I do hope that you start feeling better again soon. 🙏🏻
I love collector Barbie dolls but that looks like a $30 doll.. I liked the lunar new year one better and that was half the price.. I’m disappointed how much they’ve been lacking in detail for a doll that price.
When I was a kid it was fashionable to have a doll in a crocheted dress to cover a toilet paper roll. I'm not saying its the same but I get those feels from this doll.
I agree 100%, that is why I didn’t get her, the quality, horrible face mold, and overall cheapness, is astounding. I can’t believe so many bought her, after the quality of the others, like the mythical muse, faraway forest, Ect..Ect.. I’m starting to move more into Integrity, they have superior quality. :(
She is gorgeous in person. My only complaint are her shoes and the pink elastic, but that was solved with a 30 second restyle by wrapping a small amount of the ponytail over the pink elastic. The millie face mold definitely isn't for everyone, but the faceup they have on her is quite stunning in person, assuming you didn't get one with a ton of flaws. To be frank, I originally bought her for the tulle dress which is constructed beautifully, but wound up getting another so I could have one MIB and the other so I could redress Poppy in this gorgeous gown.
I just opened Da Boss today (it was an early Valentines day present) and I was so blown away by her clothing and detailing.....and then I saw this review on a Barbie collectors doll and I was shocked at the difference. The barbie collectors doll is a joke.

The lack of articulation alone is an embarrassment for the price point. I think we're extremely lucky that we got what we did with the Skullector Monster High dolls last year because after seeing this, I won't be expecting much from them in the future.
She looks like a pretty *$40 Plastic Happy Birthday Barbie, not a $100 Silkstone* Barbie. I've always wanted to hold a real silkstone doll in my hands, but if this is what the new ones are like I guess I never will.
Thank you for this video! I completely agree with you. The sheen on the plastic is a big deal! And that pink hair tie is tacky! At least in the illustration it's wrapped in hair. PS - I'm sorry to hear you haven't been feeling great lately. Getting this notification for your new video instantly brightened my day! ☀️
@@MyWorldMelissa Did you check out the 4 open stock dolls that are now available on the Integrity website (one has sold out, but they will keep producing)? Price is the same as this Barbie, but just in a swimsuit or bikini. They are going to offer more open stock at the lower prices in the future.
Integrity are gorgeous dolls I have one at the moment but the amount of detail in the clothes make up, I have Stormer from Jem well worth the $100 + I paid for her. I would not pay that for this Barbie that's for sure, I'd be bummed too especially with the other two stunning collector dolls mummy shared. I hope Mattel ups there game again.
There is a doll from integrity toys named as "secret garden eugenia" cost $175 with 2 looks. One of the look is totally the same as this pink collection barbie but in black gown. The outfits and accessories are detailed and finely made, and that worth the money paid.
I've got some blonde Barbies on clearance for $2 that I could change the lips and makeup to look like that one. Ijs. I have a MTM body I could put them on as well. They should stop with the "fully posable" things on dolls that don't have MTM joints.
Less of a price?! I don't say that this doll was worth 100$ she was worth the most 40-50$.... But one rainbow doll costs 40€ & OMG doll it's about 60-70€ online... If I go to a store is 20% more expensive...
@@lamablushes6427 It seems like you're comparing these dolls in different prices. One Rainbow High doll in America is just $26 dollars. That's only a quarter of the price this Barbie, but they have more details and better quality fashions. Rainbow High might cost more in another currency in another country, but so would this Barbie. Though in my opinion, this Barbie is only worth $30 dollars max.
@@dimini4267 i think they got that way after disney bought them out. They were so much better of a company before that. Now i love the fashionistas and I think thats really what saved them but other than that, quality over quantity went poorly down over the last decade
I wish her belt was silver so it could stand out more and match the earrings, as a 16 year old who collects dolls ive seen way better from mattel and it disappoints me because they've gone cheap
Well, it is not your fault, don't feel like that. Luckily, there are alternatives. These big companies (not just Mattel) must learn that they have to deliver for the money they ask and for the premium appeal they want to keep.
Honestly, if this is the direction that Mattel is going with their collector dolls, lets hope that there is no revival for monster high in the up coming months/years. I can only imagine how bad that could be. This is just so sad and bad.
What's surprising is that they'd usually cheapen their other doll lines for Barbie cause Barbie is their main brand, put above all else. But now they're just cheapening Barbie- and the collector ones too. I don't know what gives.
They just revealed Monster high is coming back today, and after watching this video it has got me extremely scared for how they are going to turn out. The quality of Mattel lately is truly upsetting and the thought of monster high coming back next year in 2022 in the state that they are in now makes me want to cry. They better not mess up bruh.
@@queenofcats1410 i at least have hope for the collector dolls because of the way they made the pennywise and grady twins ones. If they can keep that quality I will be happy
I wish they would take some notes from MGA because I feel like there quality is dropping so badly, but there still charging high prices for basic dolls that are supposed to be collector dolls. While rainbow high is giving everything and more for less than $30. Barbie is losing her fashion icon status
Yes! The Lol OMG collector doll that looks like Elvis is under $50 and it comes with a jukebox that plays music. Barbie is my childhood I’m sad to see her go out like this
I got mine for $80 iam going to fix her hair n some little makeover iam going to challenge my self that she has hidden beauty , anyway this is the last time I will buy new Barbie Collector doll, I will focus on 80s Barbie which has more good qualities..
Ugh - how disappointing! I contemplated this doll and am glad I didn’t make the purchase. I love my Haunted series as well as both Day of the Barbies...but I totally agree with other comments - this Pink one looks like a $15/$20 80s Barbie. I have no idea how the $100 price tag can be justified. Sad day Mattel!
The Silkstone material is more expensive, but, in contrast, the doll in the white dress that Melissa showed was $100 in 2016, and has more joints that move (i.e. is actually posable).
I rather spend $100 on a Integrity toys doll or even on the older monster high dolls. Mattel needs to be bought by another company or hire new designers!
Thanks for the shoutout to people with chronic illness, it is greatly appreciated. 😁💜 I was born with Rheumatoid Arthritis, and a lot of days, I do feel like dumpster ooze, especially on days like today when it’s below zero degrees outside. But watching your videos help give me a little pick me up when I’m feeling down. So thank you, and keep doing what you’re doing!
I think they didn’t do that because the doll is meant to represent the classic white blonde Barbie. I agree a African American version would be so pretty! 💕
Would still have the cheap shoes and earrings. And no posing. I'm still mad at Chic City Suit Barbie. My favorite Silkstone. She's an AA doll and has a beautiful makeup and hair. That suit was so cheap. I bought my pretty doll a beautiful outfit from a lady in France that came with a dress, a shawl, a hat, and a purse. I put her in some shoes from my Barbie Fan Club shoe gift set and that's what she wears. She hasn't worn that blue monstrosity since the day she arrived in my house. It's not a bad dress, and she was a cheaper priced Silkstone, but it just didn't look like a Silkstone quality outfit. This doll, just is no. Even the hair tie looks like something my Barbies in the 90s had. A colorful orthodontics rubber band. No one would wear that hair accessory with this dress. They would have a jeweled clip or something.
11:18 This doll is absolutely gorgeous! I love the colors on her and her face! 😍 The PINK Barbie is a different story... even her elastic band looks cheap. At least the dress is pretty. I wish Barbie would play more with the eye and hair colors for the collector dolls. Maybe black hair and GREEN eyes? 🤭
This is sad! I used to love Barbie in the '90s now I can't believe how horrible the quality of everything is. The only thing that has improved imo is Ken's face.
I have a chronic illness & autoimmune disorders so I 100% feel what you describe. That’s the most accurate description I have ever heard of how it feels “living” w/ a chronic illness ( I’m confined to my house & most often my bedroom these last few years, so I use “living” loosely). It had really got the best of me until a few months after having lung surgery due to a rare & severe infection. I was out of the hospital, but still sick & really weak, so was in bed watching TH-cam to try to distract me from feeling like rough. I stumbled upon a video of one of my favorite dolls when I was a child, JEM. That led to more videos of more favorites, Jewel Secrets Whitney, Maxie & Barbie. I hadn’t had a doll since 1989’s Happy Holidays Barbie (another favorite) because I was told I was too old for them. My dolls were put away & destroyed (accidentally) when I left for college. I loved, loved, loved my dolls growing up. Seeing those videos reminded me how happy they had made me as a child & I loved seeing people talk about them...people that are my age & are still collecting. That did it, I was hooked. I began to see the Barbies that had been released in the 30 years since my last & seeing there were all other kinds of dolls. I was in love & wanted all of them 🤣. That’s not going to happen. I have been able to replace only one one of my dolls, but I’m really loving watch others talk about theirs. This new Barbie is gorgeous. But I see why you are upset. Her dress is amazing, her earrings, shoes & hair are pretty, but I would be unhappy with them for $100 too. I appreciate you sharing her with us, it definitely made me smile to see her & I hope you will still be able to enjoy her even though she is not what you were expecting. You are hilarious btw, I laughed so much...thank you!!
Melissa, I think you would like the Proudly Pink doll. She is a bit tacky, with all that brash colour, but the face and hair are really cute, and the individual pieces are nice too. She is one of the few dolls I bought 2 of, since I found her in Canada recently for $70 USD, which is slightly less than her original list price. I checked that store to see if they ship to the US so you could maybe get one from there, but they don't. For comparison, the Pink Collection doll is $115 USD here in Canada, so I'd rather have the 2nd Proudly Pink.
@@kristianberg4264 oh I couldn't agree more!! As much as I love her channel she's always singing Mattel's praises and with her recent videos basically saying she'd take diversity over quality I'm surprised that she'd call out this doll in a primarily negative manner. Mattel needs to do better. They all do, but with Barbies rep, they need to do better.
Mommy Yes! Please call them out! I'm glad you came back to your senses, like, diversity is amazing with mattel but it is not an excuse for the shitty quality they have been giving us. Best in Black got so much hate for being basic, and I never saw her above $70. Best in Black is an articulated Silkstone that looks beautiful to me, and I got her for $35 from Walmart .com around Christmas. I don’t see how this modelmuse doll that looks like a basic modelmuse doll is more than $40 at full price. No offense to anyone that loves this doll. I’m in a few Barbie collector groups and some people really love her. I just do not see a $100 doll. I could handle plastic shoes, and a basic head sculpt if she was $40. This is just not a $100 doll! She is the first modelmuse Silkstone, and she’s such a missed opportunity. I think a head sculpt that isn’t so prevalent in the playline, and shoes with a fabric bow could have made such a difference. A more severe face would look so much better. She looks like a OOAK Millie.
100$ for that?!? That’s a bad type of impressive. Also I appreciate the shoutout. Ulcerative colitis makes me feel beyond garbage sometimes, but I keep chugging along
I agree with you. The price point of these dials are so expensive Even if that was $50 what justifies it for even that amount. Back in the day for $25 or $50 you would get double the quality and it was worth it $100 is really a lot of money.
She's NOT worth the price !!!! And, WHAT THE HELL Mattel !!! Maybe if she cust the same as the Holidays Barbies... But where's the attention to detail and the love ??!! Because i used to spend hundreds of dollars on Barbie purchases. But they had all the elements that make the Barbie we all love and miss ! This doll doesn't cut it, sorry... Mattel seems to want to end everything that sells, how many great doll lines has mattel terminated ? How much mattel has downgraded quality on Barbie, not even the collector dolls escaped this decline in quality, the prices are still the same though... Seriously, what is wrong with mattel ?! Great video Melissa, i am so sorry that you spent your money on this doll, but thank you for the sacrifice; now we all know the truth. Thank you for the video 💕💕
I had to watch this video again because something caught my eye recently about this doll. When I first saw this barbie, she reminded me of the illustration of barbie in the sega Genesis game Barbie super model ( or Barbie fashion model) that was seen in the main menu of the game. However just recently I saw one of the early holiday Barbies from I believe the 90's and now I'm wondering if the dress she's wearing is perhaps an altered recycled pattern of that pink dress from that holiday Barbie but the designers altered the top ruffles. Nothing wrong with that, I actually think it's super cool if that's what they did because some of Barbie's outfits from the 90's that I can remember we're gorgeous and it's super nice to see a revival because I really do miss seeing dresses like this one.
WOW! It’s the rubber band in her hair and those hideous plastic shoes for me😐😐 remember all the beautiful Christian Louboutin replica shoes that mattel made for the Louboutin Barbie???? What a DOWNFALL!!! She looks like a knock off, Barbie basics doll🥺🥺🥺🥺I would definitely be sending her back.
Thanks so much for this video and review ! It feels like such a humbling moment u just had knowing Mattel has sent u free stuff in the past before but ....when u actually spent 100 bucks of your own money and the product is not up to par , I like seeing that . I like seeing the real emotions bc I’m sure we have all been their and done that. I sure hope Mattel sees this and improves on their barbies in the future since u are such an awesome YT toy reviewer for us all! I love the diversity of the fashionista like but I totally dislike the cheap screen clothing , 1 item dresses they are giving us with these dolls ! Always plastic . No detail and no cool authentic factor in them ! This is why I do like what Mga is bringing to the doll community ! The layers , authenticity , the cute 90s throwback moments! Doesn’t Mattel realize that yes they are selling to children but it is also us 80-90s babies lovers and parents that are buying the damn things and we are frustrated and mad at what Barbie has become !
Totally agree with cha, i saw her on the website and the descriptions sounds fancy but the pictures didn’t sell good to my eye, I’m so glad i didn’t get her
She is pretty. The pink is so pretty.... The thing is she could have been made with VINYL and it will be CHEAPER and does not show much of the difference. She doeS not have to be “Silkstone” and she does not look like one. She can be a Happy Holiday doll and everyone will be just happy. The doll is right, the design is right, but could be better with Holiday series of 40-50 usd.
I've also been struggling with my chronic illness lately and I know that if I was feeling like crap and opened a doll to that quality I would feel way worse! That's ridiculous, she looks almost like a off brand barbie. The dress is still pretty though but even I know that 100$ should get you more than just a frilly dress with plastic accessories.
Hope you're well and feeling good and strong. It took me a second to appreciate this figure because I was so used to the vintage face (bild lily) Silkstone. But what Mattel has done here is incredible, even though my figure's earring also broke. It's a combination of Silkstone and Model Muse. And the gown is a recreation of a Giambattista Valli!!!! It's a phenomenal 1/6 scale figure when/if it grows on you and you appreciate it's innovation. !!!!!
Mattel would make money if they bring back the original monster high dolls and at this point monster high should be Mattel's main doll line because barbie is not selling like it used to and A new doll that is not barbie Is not pink not blond just a completely different person So barbie can retire that is all Mattel needs to do
Sparkle Eyes Barbie was $12.99 in 1992 when she came out. Similar Dress, more poseability, better hair, convertible outfit. And you can STILL get her for around 50 bucks on ebay.
We all need to stop buying Mattel dolls until they r worth it or else they’re gonna think we like this, so we should jus force them to make better quality dolls with the billions of dollars they make off of us!
damn, big woof - that's a 30 quid Barbie tops imo. You just reviewed the Ruby Reds not long ago and there is so much quality there for around 100 dollars in comparison! The fact they called that Barbie fully articulated is pretty cheeky!
I agree with you all the way. She is pretty in her pink but she looks like any average Barbie. I personally don't like the floofy dresses but I am sure they thought they better elaborate on something. $100 is ridiculous for this doll! I agree that the Silk Stone is more what you are looking for in that price range. I am blessed enough to have one which I found at Value Village , our thrift store. Her arm was broken at the joint but everything else was perfect! I paid $6.99 for her!!
I really appreciate your honesty in this video. This is the huge issue, we keep saying "its okay we understand" but than we just keep getting awful quality...its just unacceptable, I've tried to write to designers telling them how much I want to work for Mattel (barbie specifically) i'm literally in art school right now to pursue that...I tried sending a long message to Kim Culmone on instagram about my thoughts, and I always try to be as uplifting and positive as I can be. I haven't heard anything back. I feel like i'm trying so hard to save Barbie...I'll keep trying

She looks like a pretty *$40 Plastic Happy Birthday Barbie, not a $100 Silkstone* Barbie. I've always wanted to hold a real silkstone doll in my hands, but if this is what the new ones are like I guess I never will.
Sorry you’re feeling bad lately! Ur persistence in making videos is much appreciated! Your content is a reliable pocket of joy in my day to day life!
I have been definitely been getting more into integrity toys because of barbies quality going off own.
I'm afraid that if I go down the Integrity rabbit hole I'm going to go seriously broke!!!
@@MyWorldMelissa At least you'll go broke on dolls with high quality. I have a few, and they are incredible.
I hope one day Mattel will wake up already. The quality is bad.
There is a doll from integrity toys named as "secret garden eugenia" cost $175 with 2 looks. One of the look is totally the same as this pink collection barbie but in black gown. The outfits and accessories are detailed and finely made, and that worth the money paid.
Oh boy... I googled her just for curiosity and she looks incredible!!! That’s a collectors doll and no jokes!
I've got some blonde Barbies on clearance for $2 that I could change the lips and makeup to look like that one. Ijs. I have a MTM body I could put them on as well. They should stop with the "fully posable" things on dolls that don't have MTM joints.
i think they can say fully posable als long as they have sholder, elbow, wrist, knee, and hip joints.
I was gob smacked by the price then the quality 😲
Mattel needs to up their game. Rainbow High and Omg! are better quality and less than half the price.
Less of a price?! I don't say that this doll was worth 100$ she was worth the most 40-50$.... But one rainbow doll costs 40€ & OMG doll it's about 60-70€ online... If I go to a store is 20% more expensive...
No they aren’t. You’re just blinded by pretty.
I think you’re just a Mattel hater and will defend MGA no matter what
@@lamablushes6427 It seems like you're comparing these dolls in different prices. One Rainbow High doll in America is just $26 dollars. That's only a quarter of the price this Barbie, but they have more details and better quality fashions. Rainbow High might cost more in another currency in another country, but so would this Barbie. Though in my opinion, this Barbie is only worth $30 dollars max.
even her hairstyle looks nothing like on the artwork, just messy....they even did the designers choices wrong. I would feel offended as designer :/
I think the $100 went into that dress that tule cuz she looks like every other barbie i had in the 90s for play not for collection.
I agree
How hard is it to make a tule dress? The older holiday dolls had way more complex dresses for cheap. Mattel loves being lazy..
@@dimini4267 i think they got that way after disney bought them out. They were so much better of a company before that. Now i love the fashionistas and I think thats really what saved them but other than that, quality over quantity went poorly down over the last decade
@@JayofallTrades I didn't know Disney bought out Mattel! that explains the crap dive in quality.
Ever since the 2010's, Mattel has just been a shell of it's former self with lesser quality and playability.
The box is more glamourous than the doll itself. $100 for no articulation. She also looks like play line than collector. I'm over it.
To think the Rainbow High dolls are for $26 with that amount of quality, and Mattel comes with this for $100. There is definitely some problems.
Your problem is bias.
@@brianaguilar8283defending barbie isn't gonna give you money when clearly they aren't delivering quality
@@vee.3029 why are you bumping a 2 year old thread?
@@brianaguilar8283 I saw the comment now and my point still stands even today 🤷why be satisfied when we could be getting better quality
@@vee.3029 this isn’t a doll for children who destroy their toys with rough play, she’s meant for adults and for display only.
I’d love to see your older collector barbies ! Maybe it will spark Mattel .,,,
I wish her belt was silver so it could stand out more and match the earrings, as a 16 year old who collects dolls ive seen way better from mattel and it disappoints me because they've gone cheap
Well, it is not your fault, don't feel like that. Luckily, there are alternatives. These big companies (not just Mattel) must learn that they have to deliver for the money they ask and for the premium appeal they want to keep.
LOL OMG dolls have got better quality than this. For $100? That’s so sad.
Agreed
I can name 2 hundred trillion dolls that are cheaper and better quality
No they don’t
@@brianaguilar8283 yes they do...;-;
Honestly, if this is the direction that Mattel is going with their collector dolls, lets hope that there is no revival for monster high in the up coming months/years. I can only imagine how bad that could be. This is just so sad and bad.
we joked about budget cutting since few years back...this is BLATANT. it's like they just gave up.
Barbie is my childhood I’m sad to see her go out like this
@@dimini4267 Barbie done lost that title in my opinion. Rooting for her to make a comeback.
Even $15-$20 barbie in the 80's are better quality than this
Her dress is gorgeous but that's not fully posable, thats the model muse body wich is made to hold just ONE pose 1/5 will definetly not buy
The old ones are always so much better I love 1997 it was a good year for barbie
Love mine so much 💕👸🏼 So pretty!!!
so sorry the earring on your doll broke! MATTEL SEND HER A NEW ONE ASAP
I think she’s very pretty, but I wish they made a African American version too, and I feel like she’s kind of basic for the price.
That dress would be 🔥on an AA doll! 💃🏿
@@melmel4712 Another reviewer put the dress on the Best to a Tea doll, and she looks great.
@@c.w.2000 🤩
They would have a jeweled clip or something.
this is why rainbow high is being the main competition smh.
We need more green eyed dolls in general.
This is what I wrote before about this doll under another video. It would've been amazing if she was with dark hair and green eyes.
They could also just give the Latina versions green eyes. Then we would have brown, green and blue 😌
I literally LOLed when you called the Lunar New Year doll a 50 dollar fashionista. 😂😂😂😂
Thank you so much for this honest review, I'm so tired of other babie collector that say's "Oh it's not that bad" on literally collector dolls.
oh gosh Mattel, no :( that's terrible for 100 dollars !!!
I think I need her to soothe my broken heart. 💕💕
I'm honestly surprised you're dissing Mattel.
Well, they asked for it, we collectors don’t spend hard earned money for this cheap crap. Lol
Like, everything is overpriced and they can't say they haven't been making money recently. Like, it's been so crappy lately and I need them to get on their ish soon.
Meanwhile you can get a RH doll for $40 (CAD) that has amazing clothing, hair, actually articulated, rooted lashes and glass styles eyes 🤷🏻♀️ so sad when many if not most got into collecting dolls because of the old collector edition dolls from Mattel
depends on were your from for me there only $30
26.99 where I’m from
@@missroyaltea4012 @umm ok
That’s USD I’m speaking about Canadian dollar. We get hit good with conversion rates lol $39.99 for regular $34.99 for cheer and $49.99 for Kia (special edition)

I feel like they thought they could get away with it thinking most people wouldn't take it out of the box so they'd never know.
I'm so sorry you wanted to feel better and they gave you cheap crap with a high price tag. 💕
She's beautiful IN the box... And I think that's what they had in mind... That collectors will most likely keep her in the box...
I hear you totally. I have fibromyalgia and cannot get a treatment in the past year due to covid
All these collector dolls feel like they're double the price for what we're getting
She looks like an outdated McDonald’s happy meal doll 😬 it’s all playline material. Wtf Mattel? 😟
exactly
i'm definitely feelin' you about chronic illness and the decline in quality of Barbie. I used to sell collector Barbie in retail department store
The Idea Sketch That Robert Made Is (Kinda) Nice, But I Must Say, I'm Still A Bob Mackie Design Stan.
I’m so sorry you’re upset
You’re so strong and brave doll goddess keep it up you got this you’re not alone
i don’t collect barbie and im not interested in it but watching you talk about parts of your collection excitedly is so fun! I definitely think your old favorites are way more cool than this brand new one
I kinda want the dress. I have a brown skin Silkstone that would look fabulous in that color.
That does sound lovely.
Thatd look so so cool! Idk why but i love darker-toned barbies in the avarage blonde one colour scemes like bright pink-
No clue why but i just feel like it makes them pop
How sad she looked amazing in the box at first....
Gorgeous dress which I guess costs $95 and $5 for the doll
We’re going goth!! Hahah that’s so funny! She’s cute. I would pay 25 dollars not 100. Thanks for the review
From the Blonds Blond Gold, Versace, Barbie Basics and top modes to this. . . how the mighty has fallen. Thanks for voicing out our thoughts.
100$ for that?!? That’s a bad type of impressive. Also I appreciate the shoutout. Ulcerative colitis makes me feel beyond garbage sometimes, but I keep chugging along
Aww, I'm so sorry this doll didn't make you feel happier 😟❤️❤️❤️❤️
I agree with you. The price point of these dials are so expensive Even if that was $50 what justifies it for even that amount. Back in the day for $25 or $50 you would get double the quality and it was worth it $100 is really a lot of money.
The body mold reminds me of a Barbie I had growing up that was arguably higher quality than this 🤭
Mattel has entered the dumpster juice level
The last good Collector dolls were the Star Wars Dolls? But what about Dia De Los Muertos Barbie? She was definitely worth the price point
I was really wanting to buy this doll but was very disappointed when no African American version was released 😭
!!!!!
Mattel would make money if they bring back the original monster high dolls and at this point monster high should be Mattel's main doll line because barbie is not selling like it used to and
A new doll that is not barbie
Is not pink not blond
just a completely different person
So barbie can retire that is all Mattel needs to do

Sparkle Eyes Barbie was $12.99 in 1992 when she came out. Similar Dress, more poseability, better hair, convertible outfit. And you can STILL get her for around 50 bucks on ebay.
We all need to stop buying Mattel dolls until they r worth it or else they’re gonna think we like this, so we should jus force them to make better quality dolls with the billions of dollars they make off of us!
The dress reminds me of the one in the main menu of the Barbie super model game on the old Sega Genesis. Love it
$25.00 I pay for this Barbie. That’s to much for $100.00 thank you for sharing this video sweetie I love you channel ❤️❤️❤️❤️
damn, big woof - that's a 30 quid Barbie tops imo.
I've had chronic headaches and migraines since I was 13.. I have also been diagnosed with scoliosis in the past month.. so I feel ya
Thank-you for saying that. A bunch of people are complaining about her being honest. Melissa can't win.
Thank You for the review. I purchased the doll and agree the price point was steep. I also was disappointed that the arms didn't touch her waist/hips.
Back in the 80’s that would have been a normal playline Barbie dress. The dresses from Crystal Barbie, Peaches & Cream were gorgeous.
