  • This song is believed to be composed by a Boegarp (a Bhutanese official serving at the royal court in olden times) who served under second and third king of Bhutan. It is said that there was one particular horse with exceptionally stunning mane / hair and the Boegarp was very fond it. As they travelled the mountains and valleys running errands for the royal court, the Boegarp composed the song and would sing along.
Thank you Nidup Dorji for this beautiful recording and the background information about the song. What a wonderful singing!
And how awesome is that sound of Aerga (horse bells)!
This track is from Nidup Dorji's album called "Boedra Fusion".
