I really enjoy when QYF interviews her friends. There’s a stark difference when it’s just a guest compared to her friends ( Kym Ng , Bryan Wong ). With her friends, there’s so much laughter , tears and honesty.
Unfortunately PQ comes across as very guarded despite QYF’s effort to probe.
Chemistry is indeed very important for a programme such as this.
Phyllis Quek should have compete at Miss Chinese International in Hong Kong. She could be a Champion from Singapore before she becomes an artiste. Her Cantonese is very good when she did the HK film with Aaron Kwok called 2000 AD
My most favorite n most beautiful actress.
Miss her days of acting.
Do hope she will return to acting.
Hopefully to see her acting on tv again.

This episode was very disappointing. The audience obviously misses Phyllis (as per the survey) but QYF failed as an interviewer in making Phyllis comfortable. Phyllis has had a very interesting career, and there are so many topics QYF could have asked, but didn't.
1. How did Phyllis feel about being labelled 4th Jie? Instead, QYF just mentioned this in passing.
2. Much like Ann Kok, Phyllis left Singapore at her peak to focus her career overseas. Although Phyllis got steady work in Taiwan and China, she never made it as a star there. As a result of focusing her career overseas, she suffered a dip in popularity in Singapore and ended up being relegated to supporting roles from the 2000s onwards. From a 4th Jie with lead roles to playing supporting roles in both SG and overseas, did she regret leaving SG at her peak?
3. Phyllis never received any acting nominations at Star Awards before. Were there any roles she felt snubbed? I personally thought she should have gotten a Best Actress nom for 东游记
QYF's interviewing skills for this episode was lacking.
I dont know her well so I couldn’t think better but i too felt abit boring in this episode, it was kind of standard questions.
It’s not as interesting as other episodes but it’s already more in-depth than what most pp know about PQ. PQ was a lot more guarded when she was full-time.
@@janlyrliu9697 People watch this show because of the intimate in-depth interviews. So it's QYF's job as the host to get her guests to drop their guard. Some more QYF won 2 Best Host at the Star Awards for this show so expectations are high.
While PQ was indeed guarded, QYF also didn't make much of an effort to go in-depth. PQ has a 20+ years long career but her episode is half that of most episodes. Such a wasted episode.
It should be noted that the questions that the host can ask has to be agreed by the guest.
Many a times , with such programmes , the questions and topics are agreed upon before filming.
The suggestions you brought forth are interesting for the viewers but PQ may take offence and feel attacked by QYF.
@@byron4486 Do you know what happens when a host attempts to go too in-depth regardless of the guest’s feelings ? You face the risk of the guest walking off. As seen in so many Hollywood interviews.
A good host has to have the skill to toe the line carefully and be able to read the guest.
The success of the interview also very much depends on how much the guest is willing to divulge.
You can’t squeeze blood from a stone.
采访的不是让妃丽很舒服，话说的不太客气，好在能让我们能更了解妃丽一些。喜欢妃丽。

The naked truth for Singapore entertainment industry is simply limited resource especially budget, limited n restrictive production content and youngster, not creativity and flexible and multiskilled as korean, korean development n creativity in entertainment program creation much far better than us local. 新加坡演艺圈， 吃不包，饿不死，富裕的，俩三个，其他的，慢慢等，一次红，买房子，买车子，没多久，转身走，慢生活，活久久。😂😂😂。
