- Andhra Pradesh Election ResultsOutgoing Andhra Pradesh chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy says he does not know the reason why despite bringing welfare to maximum households, the elderly, women, farmers, auto drivers and others, he and his party, the YSR Congress had faced such a humiliating defeat in Andhra Pradesh.
The YSRCP had won 151 assembly and 23 Lok Sabha seats with nearly 50 per cent vote share in 2019. Going down to 40 per cent vote share in 2024 has left the party with just 10 assembly and four Lok Sabha seats.

He cutted down many trees to organize his meetings in a bounded curtains.
All he knows is press the button and release funds to fulfill some schemes and he presumed it is development.
Overall He presumed himself as a Maharaja and assumed people as his slaves or beggars. This is the reason why he lost & now he is acting like a pativrata,....he is a sudda pusani actually.

Jagan who became CM after being in public for 10 years not in public for atleast 10days once he is CM,
sympathy politics worked very well for jagan in 2019,
Murder of his own uncle which in done before he is in power,but he did nothing about it after he came in to power(there are many allegations that his own family did that),
Worst attitude & way of talking of MLA's and ministers in public and even in assembly,he got around 80% of MLA seats but even then he didn't take any disciplinary action against any one who do wrong in his party,

13. No backup plan to fall upon in case of failing to break the alliance and thus the anti-incumbency.
14. No objective talk & assurance on states financial conditions and fiscal deficit.
15. Industrial development not upto the mark.
16. Agricultural/irrigational projects of the order of Kaleshwaram not seen in AP.
17. Culturally siding with religious groups left other majority religious group wanting of alternative to listen to their voice.
18. Cadre couldn't face the general public on account of inefficient leadership.
Corona is also a reason, but how many people have mentioned this issue I don't know.

Because they don't wanna take a chance brother as he got 151 MLA's in 2019 with his sympathy games,they know there is anti incumbancy but don't know how people react to so called freebies as he is the only person in the history who is dependent on freebies/welfare schemes and till results also no one knows that there is this much anti incumbancy against jagan,stop blaming others,and there is not such shock as he got 39% vote share ,even NTR garu lost even after new generational welfare schemes and ysr garu also won just with border seats in 2009 even after balancing welfare and development both.

Jagan's often criticised Welfarism is not his in-born trait but was forced by circumstances. As a Christian Reddy he has a narrow Social base, that only Christians would support, but no other Reddy. Driven by passion for his Dad's political philosophy(or lack of it) he felt the mantle fell on his head after his Dad's untimely (gruesome & unfortunate) death. By then, Telangana cauldron has turned "simmering" to "boiling" phase, turning residual AP to old Andhra, with its old Social format (Rayala Seema versus Coastal Andhra) with Rayala Seema's notoriety of faction fights & frequent murders. The Seema-Andhra(coast) combine lead to the tussle with Krishna-Guntur based political gentry. Andhra like a long loin-cloth is a disparate state with the Seema, North (Kalinga) Andhra & coastal mid-land vying with each other.
In the meanwhile he (Jagan) amassed an unfortunate clutch of legal cases against him. He became CM in these circumstances, of a nascent, cash-starved AP state. The Centre was unrelenting, to give it a "special" status" nor to help it out any manner - in a politically "weak" state. Nor the CM had any political clout with the Centre (rather the lack of it). Tilling a lone furrow he had to give doles to all sections of the people. It was, kind of scorched Earth policy, to deny the goods to any successor regime . His sister saw it too. The hoped-for resolving of his legality became an albatross across his neck that he carried to his last day in office. The political skull-duggery thus, worked to the advantage of his opponents, whom CM Jagan insulted no end, in the assembly. That too lost a big chunk of voters for him. If anything, such skull-duggery must be put an end to, if the politics had to remain healthy in the country. But that wasn't to be.
The Centre's stance towards the state was always adverse. Centre (or rather the party) with a brutal majority (short of the aspired 400 majority) had no time for AP nor its politics, paying little attention to the electorate's sagacity. This over-ambition cost the party a simple majority. Quickly, that changed the scene passing advantage to the state, as the King-maker. It remains to be seen how CBN leverages it to take the state, on progress. Time is of essence.
A recent video (or rather an appeal) by an Andhra zealot, praying (exhorting) political video makers to "keep off" AP. He claims that there is no entrenched casteism in AP, but all Andhra people belong to one "Andhra jati". Whether it is going to be true, remains to be seen. Let the Euphoria subside.
In fact Jagan waited for the inevitable to happen. What Jagan did to CBN in 2019, CBN returned in the same measure - a sledge-hammer brutal majority to pulverise the opposition. CBN in the meanwhile broadened his Socio-political base & the rest is what we see now.
Andhra is endowed with a large base of untapped resources (the recent find is that 35% Thorium ore in India is in AP coastal sands, of the Indian share of world's "half") that needs sophisticated handling form the political leadership!
