Why are they so concerned that retail might actually make some money here

A wonderful dicussion, i would agree that there has been an increase in retail stock trading as a result of
the recent surge in the gamestop stock this has lead retailers into making a run towards meme stocks
although this looks like there is going to be a long term move rather than a short pump and drop
i would expect meme stocks to do well this quarter but would also say getting in at discount levels on these meme stocks is better and will reduce the risk
i can only say many investors make the mistake of buying high and selling low while the exact opposite is the right strategy to outperform over the long term.

CNBC will never actually address the fact that a “meme” stock is just one that hedge funds are deeply shorting and manipulating with esoteric trading practices, and “retail” investors are just buying the stock up and forcing them to spend billions on their manipulation bets by having them have to buy the stocks they’ve short floated. The channel NEVER analyzes these situations in a way that sheds a light on what these hedge funds are actually doing, which is nothing CLOSE to anything involving integrity. They love to focus on the individuals trading and make it seem like it’s just a gamble. The real gamblers are the institutional market makers using tactics that should be outlawed, but they’ve lobbied and bought off anyone who might actually pass a law against their practices. The “meme” traders are individuals trying to shed a light on some truly insane and corrupt corners of this financial system.

And this is why no one believes or trusts journalists now, because these entertainment platforms costumed as real journalists can’t actually report on these situations in truthful, fact-based ways that educate people on every side of a situation. Instead, they play to what gets clicks, what validates existing opinions, and most importantly, what won’t upset the conglomerate corporation above who owns their subsidiary network.

Golden Cobra presale holds promise as an investment opportunity, but I'm curious about its long-term sustainability. Any insights on its roadmap and future plans? #GoldenCobra
