Another vote for "Reptile", one of their best songs ever. And they push extremes even further with everything.

I disagree. Spencer made a ton of progress from periphery 1 to 2 but since then he's just been awesome consistently. The only real leap he ever made as a singer was from 1 to 2

@@HugoStiglitz88 I think 2 to Jugg was a pretty significant leap too though. Not as stark, but i can absolutely hear a difference. Absolutely love him as a vocalist, dudes amazing.

Nice. This is one of their craziest and best songs. You absolutely nailed it when you said it's a ride. That's exactly why I love it so much. It's like an adventure in song form (I don't mean lyrically btw). One of the few times they matched the technical brilliance of periphery 1 (their first/best album)
Another song that's a ride is Reptile, and my personal favorite periphery song RACECAR.
The end to this song is so epic to me more because they use the chorus to alpha. Them adding that just made the two albums feel like they went full circle. Sick ass moment. Those boys in periphery are geniuses.

I fucking love this song. The messages behind it are so powerful as well. The opening talking about the inner demons and the aggressive sounds, the upbeat mid section talking about overcoming these demons, the interlude showing the peace we enjoy in overcoming these challenges, and the dissonant ending saying death always wins.
Maaaaan I got bamboozled, thinking there was FINALLY some new periphery lol, this track is incredible tho 👍

You guys should check out Garden In The Bones or (my favorite) Sentient Glow. They’re so good!
No idea what other songs you've heard from them, but live streams are never ideal for hearing music for the first time. This is the band that got me into metal, if you guys haven't done Reptile yet you might as well just throw yourselves into it now. You only need a few Periphery songs before you rip the band-aid off. In a good way.
