This was so fantastic. Fright Night Part II is an underrated gem that needs to be spoken about more. I love it just as much as the original film. Had the honor of meeting both William Ragsdale and Tommy Lee Wallace. It was so amazing. I need to seek these areas out when I am in LA area. Best to you both and thank you for all you do.
I love Fright Night, and have seen it multiple times since it came out in 1985. But I had no idea there was a sequel! It's actually on TH-cam for free -- will watch tonight 🥰
Can I just say, I love Fright Night, and I love Fright Night: Part 2 just as much! Michael, Jessica, thank you for giving new recognition to this great sequel!
Excellent job . Love part 2 so much and never got around to hitting the locations , this was awesome . I’ve always wanted to get up In the apartment and also figure out where the “I kill vampires” bar was. That’s a toughie
Thanks so much for this - actually one of my fav movies from the 80s and criminally under-rated. Such a shame it only ever got such a limited cinema release at the time.
Love, love, LOVE both Fright Nights, and Part 2 is completely underrated, and you can hardly find it anywhere. This brings it back. I'll never outgrow horror movies! Thanks, guys!
I dont think i ever watched Fright Night part 2 but I did watch the original about a million times as a kid in the 80s. Great video Michael and Jessica! ✌️
After 33 years or more, was a real GOAL to find that places from iconic movie FRIGHT NIGHT 2 who was one of the movies of my life. I am 49 now and watched all these movies in the release years. Thank you for all this great work. FRIGHT NIGHT VETERAN FAN SINCE 1985. WRITER ON ARTICLES FOR NEWSPAPERS UPON CINEMA. WRITER UPPON THE OCCULT (Spain-EUROPE).
Fright Night is one of my all-time fav movies, I managed to get a copy of Fright Night II last year. The new version of Fright Night I didn't enjoy. THANK YOU for showing us these locations, from a Happy Happy VAMPIRE FAN
Tom Holland says he has a script for the sequel he wanted to originally do. It has all the original cast coming back. Well, except for Roddy, obviously. RIP. But yeah, he wants to make it. I hope the studio's let him.
Love this movie… sound effects and music everything was pretty good nothing like a great classic. Julie Carmen did an excellent job as the vampiress. The new ones were ok too 🤗🤗🤗 thanks for sharing
Awesome filming location. I completely forgot there was a fright night part 2. I do remember seeing it now. But it's been a long time. This was really good. I really enjoyed seeing this video
The Trianon apartment building is such an an architectural gem. Celebrities living in Trianon over the years: Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks, director Fred Beetson, actors Maryon Hall, William Burns, George Irving, Betty Ross Jensen, Charles O’Malley, and Harry Woods, and composer Albert Von Tilzer, Belinda Carlisle, George James Hopkins (set decorator), Vincent Spano, Kid Congo of the Cramps, and Billy Zane. Absolutely love your videos. You two are so good at this.
One of the coolest things is how you put the actual movie clips in the detailed narrative showing the locations , rather than just talking about them!! So cool the places pretty much look the same as it did!! Roddy McDowell was such a great actor, I think if there would be a horror hall of fame, he would be in there with Vincent Price among others!🎃🙏🏽❤️🔥😎
Another great video. You two create the most professional videos on youtube. And Jessica, you don't just walk, you float. Today is my 54th birthday. I would have been 20 back in 88. Those really were the best years with the best movies.
Yessssss!!! Fright Night is one of my favorite all-time horror movies and this was the best sequel I’ve ever seen. So many times sequels just don’t cut it but I thought this one was fabulous. So glad you did the locations🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
I don't care what people say about this equal. I loved it. I thought it was great and to see where was filmed at this. Just made my early birthday present. Yes my birthday is tomorrow and see this video. You're awesome. I always love fright night part 2. Like I said I don't care what people say about the sequel
I love how you guys were able to find the filming locations for part 2. I remember watching this movie when I was younger. Sad to say I keep having a hard time finding it to buy. But thank you and stay safe. Happy Halloween.
hi there, I'm also a filmmaker, and I'm autistic, your work is incredible, and your love for your wife, and you working together, following your dream with her, is the greatest thing, thank you for helping this planet, seriously it would be great to work with you in the future
Honestly love the fright night movies the first one and second, I’m actually off to meet the cast soon in October at a horror con in England , I love your videos guys, 80s was a best era for movies and shows ❤
My favorite scene is when the (long haired crazy guy mopping the floor that helps Peter Vincent escape the state hospital), points at his mop and calls it “a liar!” Haha!😂
The roller skating vampire always freaked me out , I love these movies. Thanks so much for adding this sequel mike , hope you guys get to be at midsummer scream tomorrow. I had the fortune to have met you at monsterpalloza , you guys are my favorite TH-cam channel. Keep up the amazing work
I’m a huge fan of both Fright Night 1 and 2. They are so much fun. The first film will always be my fav but I thoroughly enjoyed no. 2 aswell. Must see classic films. They don’t make them like they used to.😁😁😁👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻Thank you for your fantastic research on the locations. Us fans really appreciate it. 🥰 PS OMG the vampire on roller skates!! Totally agreed, so cool and soooooooooo 80s! 😁👌🏻
I actually saw the sequel before the original when I was 10 in 1990, so this movie introduced me to the Fright Night universe which I am very thankful for. So glad you made this video. Seeing you quite in shock knowing that you were covering the same itinerary as Peter Vincent made my day. I totally feel you bro!
Awesome I can’t believe you found those steps that Charley went up I did some research and I was I already knew that those stairs were not across the street from the Hotel/ Apartments. But I never knew where they were actually located until now thanks 😊
I recently discovered this movie a few years ago. I was very happy to have found it. I must add, it was just as good as the first! I want to truly thank you on behalf of all of your viewers, for the painstaking work it takes to find these locations. You two are amazing! As a creator myself, the material is easy, the editing is okay, but the research is the tac in the chair! You have a friend in me. Thank you.
I had such a huge crush on Traci Lin(d), I was a horror geek in HS, "Fright Night" had been a favorite. "Fright Night 2" came out around the time I left the U.S. Army in 1989, it's a shame about the Menendez murders, I think they really took the air out of this movie.
Jessica's hair is so highlighter neon green-yellow that it should glow in the dark! I LOVE H3: Season of the Witch, and Fright Night II is a hidden gem in my spooky movie collection, because of Roddy McDowell mostly, but Tommy Wallace (Kentucky boy does good!), too. [I prefer the mini-series version of 'It' and knowing Wallace directed it was a two-fer]. Thanks you two, for sussing out these locations!
another awesome video Michael and Jessica . Roddy McDowell is a great actor and its amazing and so interesting to see these filming locations you do and amazing job you have the best channel on you tube watching from eastern ontario Canada have a great day
Love these movies, love you guys and love my new merch. Finished off my Grimmlife t-shirt collection and got some new stickers. Very happy and Happy Halloween.
Thanks for all the work that you put in to bring us these filming locations. I really enjoyed watching this video. I love Fright Night and Fright Night part 2 the OG's
The Peter Vincent apartment was on the left of the building, because the windows and the distribution that we can see when Alex and Charlie visited him, is the same outside. There are Windows around the room, in three of the four sides.
Absolutely love this movie. One of my favorite sequels of all-time. In my book, it's an equal to its predecessor. I love the different types of vampires, I just wish they had a bit more backstory. If only I could find it on DVD/Blu-ray at a reasonable price. One of my biggest regrets was having the DVD in my cart at Wal-Mart back around 2002-2003, but I was young and broke and I put it back thinking I would get it later after pay day...little did I know it was already going out of print and I'd never see one at retail again.
Loved the Fright Night movies when I was growing up. Something ‘adult me’ noticed at 7 minutes 30 seconds in the video was the metal fence Jessica was walking beside. Imagine falling on one of those spikes on a drunk walk home one night 😳😬
I absolutely adord this sequal. It was so glamorous and much better than the first. Such a shame the studio didn't push it further. It had zero publicity and just ended up on video store shelfs. The movie poster was fantastic though. The picture that shows the building with the one light on. Good work guys. Thanks for bringing this movie back to the masses.
So happy that you've added this movie to your content. People rarely talk about this sequel.
I never knew anyone that talked about either. But I never cared, because they are both great.
This was so fantastic. Fright Night Part II is an underrated gem that needs to be spoken about more. I love it just as much as the original film. It's a great movie, and really fun.....but better than the original is pushing it.

Thank you. I read somewhere that part of the movie, her lair, and others were also filmed in San Fran. But yeah it’s a tough one.
I love you guys for making this video🥹 very underrated 80s sequel. Great content, please keep doing what you’re doing!🔥👊
Thanks so much for this - actually one of my fav movies from the 80s and criminally under-rated. Such a shame it only ever got such a limited cinema release at the time.
i saw it in uk when it came out
I love the Fright Night movies. Been forever since I saw them. It was cool looking at all the locations.
well done Fright night 2 was underrated movie...
Love, love, LOVE both Fright Nights, and Part 2 is completely underrated, and you can hardly find it anywhere. This brings it back. I'll never outgrow horror movies! Thanks, guys!
So Great To See Roddy Mcdowall!! ♥️
This is my first time hearing that there’s a sequel to Fright Night and now I’m going to have to see it.
Massive fan of this sequel !!!!!

Didn't much care for the new version of Fright Night myself. Think they should generally leave classics alone.
Fantastic! Thank you for filming the location of fright night 2. I love the movie. I actually have it in my playlist.
Tom Holland says he has a script for the sequel he wanted to originally do. It has all the original cast coming back. Well, except for Roddy, obviously. RIP.

I love that music in the beginning of this movie ,so nostalgic.
The sequel's very underrated. Glad you guys talked about it!
Agreed
Such an underrated film! Easily as fun as the 1st. Thanks GLC!
