saw some videos of ppl using new cannon unit to blow up siege towers in a couple of shots and destroying wall quickly but there relay situational as you said if you have teammates play with them , still flamethrowers are the best easy to use alone and bring more value to the team by turning the fights
@@mrwiseguy7932 actually i've seen it in a game a couple of days ago. ok it's not "in a couple of shots" but they deal about as much damage as normal artillary. combine that with your own artillary, and you'll get a tower down no problem.
Nice this is good for information now there one thing i think is worth mentioning the modao are more user friendly than the phalanx and the name of the trowing rocks units is falconneti gunners
Fire lancers shoot faster, more often and seemingly at longer range than liaos but liaos have a very strong melee attack that can be used as a drive by strike. I would say hussars are not very beginner friendly, cataphracts are easier as you can use their follow me skill as an albeit weaker but aimless charge, monastics are even less beginner friendly than hussars because of their low speed, they are tanky but in the hands of an unskilled cav user they will either get stuck and die anyways or alway be late and still possibly die, chevaliers are basically monastics but a little better as they have a melee skill but you are usually using them for their retinue rather than pure cav usage. Modao are excellent if you are only dealing with "normal" cavalry charges, technically speaking maxed modao can potentially kill an multiple enemy squad of t5 cav charging in them but, if anything else is involved, they will be ok only if there's a team. Orchi, like all of the sengoku season units are not an anti cav unit but an anti infantry unit, timing timing timing, if timed they kill blobs if not you better ran. Iron reapers are an icon of a bygone meta, most burst damage units can kill then, a testament of the direction the game was heading, they have the best defensive in pure defensive stats but due to their lack of shields they feel squishy due to how much damage is in game, they can do a lot but not with a team to support them to let them do what they have to do. Shenji need more support than falcos, on their own their shooting are as good as tercios and their bombs, even though they are very versatile and powerful, they have a long cooldo and without team follow up the enemy will simply run them over even with blues units or archers, at least falcons have enough health to run from enemy ranged. Lionroar and flamers, I think they function the same with the only difference being that cannons are more forgiving and flamers are more "responsive"
There is one thing I can't understand about gold units... How do people manage to maintain and use them in every game? I need to play 2-3 games just to earn enough bronze to resupply 1 iron reaper kit. And they're infantry. With cavalry, the mantainace costs are at least double. How can people afford it? How do you not get out of bronze in the long run?
@@DuckyNobu well, I guess that buying bronze with supply tokens and seasonal store makes it doable. Anyway, it is crazy the amount of bronze that sieges make you spend. Doing some math: - Let's say a unit looses 1 kit every 3 battles (quite optimistic, but well...) - Let's also say that I bring 1 gold and 2 purple units to each game. - A gold kit is around 12k, and a purple one, 4.5k - So that makes 21k every 3 games, or 7k per game. - If my winnings per game are around 4.5k, that makes a loss of 2.5k per siege, and that's without using cav O_o
I had this problem as well it really comes down to just winning fights/games without losing units my work around is i only bring 1 gold unit. My current warband is sunwards, wuwei, companion cav, ratten pikes , serfs.
@@playdv2 yes, I know that loosing less units makes them loose less kits. However, many times I have the sensation that I am focusing more on taking care of my units than trying to win the game. For example, let's say there is a fight that my team may win if I threw in my iron Reapers, but with a 50-70% chance. In those situations, many times I will think "nope, those odds are not worth the risk". Or some other times when sacrificing my unit would buy enough time for my team to win the game. So I end up playing too cowardly for my taste. Specially on Siege, that is supposed to be the "casual" game mode, as opposed to Ranked/TW.
@@silverfire222 yea I get that some games u gotta look out for your self if u wanna make a profit that's y I stopped playing shield units cus I'd get nothing for myself but help my teams units

That was in PTR testing, unit is nothing like that now and does abysmal damage, most videos are in PTR and show it in an OP state.
@@mrwiseguy7932 thanks for the info didn't know that

@@MegaIkkuh So yes, in THAT regard, it can be done, but This post was back when PTR testing videos showed one volley decimating them.

Grinding for zweihanders rn, glad they are still usable, thanks for the vid !
I wish they rework the Pavise. They need to make their machinegun like shotting rate back =))) Oh the glory day.
Thank you for the nice vid and congrats for soon having 1k subs 🎉

Playng daily, ranked doesn't lose kit so dont need to repair it. Then buy bronze from seasonal store beside supply tokens. Events too.

As a conqueror partner dont u think they should add atleast 1 more melee infantry unit to honor store ? Just wanna know your opinion :).
Probably. But that won't happen too soon. They focus more on seasonal units and makes sense.
The cav you put as best, I think they have a skin on. I can't seem to find them anywhere. Try to put the name in description or something.
Dragonrise season, Xuanjia heavy cav
1k subscribers are very close, I hope you can reach it quickly.
what's the best cavalry's name? you said " heavy something" ... not really a good guide to new players if you dont even know the name of those cavs...
You can see the picture. It's xianjua heavy cavalry. Heavy cavalry on short name. From drangonrise season.
Almost 1K subs lets get it!!!

Nah.Silahdars are not that good to be S.
