I Never got into flying games and I just picked this game up today. Just wow. This mission blew me away and I feel like I’ve been missing something like this in gaming for so long. The missile lock on and the radio chatter is so intense. Then flying through the clouds not being able to see anything for what feels like 30 seconds while your teammate gets gunned down was the most stressful experience I’ve had in gaming in a long time.
There’s something liberating about flight, even if it’s virtual.

Years ago back in the 90s I played a game called DIDTotal Air War. At the end of your mission they would replay it showing the same graphics seen in Ace Combat 7 debriefing. I remember reading that this is how in the Air Force they review similar dog fighting training tactics. I was wondering if you can do a video on this part of Ace Combat 7. Thanks for the great videos. you're the best!

Kestrel II got destroyed. Better if we can start the mission using that carrier instead of allowing the successor of a famous carrier get sunk.
Scared AWACS, poor Brownie, damn Mihaly and fucc they've done with Kestrel II .. can't believe this much happened in the third mission already, i'm legit pissed by the fact Kestrel in AC5 survived tons of destruction and Kestrel II is just sunk off screen .. what the fuck
I have a question, does Mihaly's Su-30 ever appears in the HUD during this mission?
Funny, I just tested this out myself. You can see Mihaly, but you can't shoot at him.

You can see his plane but not in the HUD nor in the Radar

It bothers me how the player can’t even get a missile lock on Mihaly in this. This level of scripting bothers me perhaps the most about this game. If I invest the time and effort into learning to dogfight, let me blow Mihaly out of the sky at any point when he shows up.

How did you get access to the whole aircraft tree by the third mission? Did you not start fresh with just the f-16 for the first 2 missions?
Probably has finished the campaign and had come back to do the mission using the loadouts they got along the way!
He finished the Campaign first, in video 2 he had Jester spawn in the Fulcrum. Part of the requirement to spawn the various Aces is the mission having already been done, I assume it was some funky editing that hid the rest of the list

Are there any other missions like this? Because if u use tomcats or f-35c youll launch from an aircraft carrier. Aside from that so far i know all other misisons and jets give u option to refuel in mid air
It's also any carrier based aircraft, which includes the Rafale M, Su-33, and CFA-44
