The forbidden third semi final
Think ZVD is a champion waiting to happen, he’s still fresh so once he expands his armoury he’s gonna be a top world contender for sure 🔥🔥
ZVD is giving me dlow in 2017/2018 hes a champ to be for sure!!!!
I think the zenith of bbxers is already too high for it to be able to compete amongst the top
@@absence9443 listen to his round 2 wildcard lmfao
@@anomaly3215 already heard of that routine it’s not new and the composition hasn’t been altered
ZVD is a drop monster, wait untill he realises that. big ups to both! what a battle
He just needs a bigger sound set and he’s golden
D-koy with plot armor Vs. ZVD with fans armor
Cant wait for Dkoy to cover "Humpty Dumpty" now!!!💯
D koy raw skill vs ZVD raw talent big ups to both they smashed
ZVD sounds like a codfish&dlow combo. AMAZING!
How is he a codfish combo his throat bass isn’t even close
@@Worldly_Pitfall3the throat bass/head voice flip technique I guess
He is just something new
I thought it's a wrap for ZVD for real, decision surprised me af
Judges usually put big emphasis on technical precision. Rewatch ZVDs 2nd round and pay attention to the drum inconcistencies. Inconsistent percusion aside, there were like 2-3 notable mistakes in that round as well. Listening with eyes closed is a good way to recognise the errors in the track more easily.
ZVD I cant wait to see you in gbb
Zvd's second round is amazing
Probably should of gone to a decider, wasn't a fan of dkoys 1st, the bass line was quite weak, where his 2nd round was straight fire.
Zvd on the other hand easily won the 1st, but was comprehensively beaten in the 2nd (I thoroughly enjoyed his end I should add)
Solid battle, dkoy beat inertia hands down anyway so he shouldn't of been there in the first place, while I'm a fan of inertia, his routines are just medleys of the same tracks from the past several years, it's becoming stale.
That wtf is going on in the inward double voice is hilarious 💀
this zvd guy has a future
d-koy clean af even when he's just freestyling
dkoy is so fucking good
Should’ve been OT because D-koy wins first round, but ZVD smashed the absolute SHIT out of the second round imo
ZVD underuses his inward bass in battles
Thats good, because then its not too repetetive, if he does it again
Nursery Rhyme tech goes crazy
Need you say more?
Wheels on the bus go round and round
ZVD🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dkoy was sick and zvd last drop had me jumpin'
Friendly loving energy! :)
biggest robbery of the competition
Inertia vs zvd?
I think ZVD should win for this battle. Dkoy just around a beat to freestyle haha
Does anyone know how tall D-Koy is?
6:20 😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵
So in my opinion, ZVD got it, because he had routines. I pretty sure, that many of you are thinking right now: " OH, he is rookie, he is just jealous about D-koy is won, he is mad " - NO. I'm talking fax. If we talking about Dkoy, he didn't have any structure, just spamming with a techs at all and spamming whistles sometimes without any reason, only reason he won - because he famous and he have a bbx community. I mean if I will learn many techc, and I will go to the ABC - I will be same as a D-koy or what? So, I don't want do say anything about ABC, they putted a lot of work in championship as well, and that's great. Actually, D-koy won with his NAME . So I'm not a hater, a just talk about my opinion about that. Anyways, maybe Zvd had not a much tech, but he has a beautiful melody and he wasnt spamming, I really enjoyed that. He tried to not put a bass and double voice a lot and he was keen on melody and structure. so that's my point of this. All in all, I'm not too mad about that, I wanna to say that here judging is kinda disappointed me too far. I'm not mad about it, but I still can't understand, how ZVD hadn't take it.
Btw, Zvd, I'm really proud of your work man. Keep it up and you surely will become a champ. You are strong as a hell ❤️
Your logic is weak.. I could make a routine rn but that doesn't make me good especially D-Koy level.. You know why D-koy smashed your boy with a nursery rhyme? Because he can and his tech is so unique and deserves the w.
@pencinta beatbox Nah man. How I said, its my opinion, and I love musicality staff so mutch. But I didn't fell the flow or groove in D-koy's rounds, because he just do techc without any vocals, only putting whistles and bass sometimes. So, where Is unique style? He's previous round was the same
agree
See, I would agree with you if you were referencing something like Zekka v Napom -- Napom freestyling had nothing on Zekka's routines that responded perfectly to Napom's battling.
Problem here is when your routine is too heavily rehashed from routines we've heard before from you. ZVD is super unique, but his drops are fairly similar -- the same way King Inertia had crazy crowd response from his first few battles in GBB21, till when it levelled off by his battle with Colaps (no disrespect meant), or when Azel used the same mix of fillers and drops in his battle against Stan in EBBC22 and lost the last round 3-0 (again, no disrespect). The thing is, the first time we ever heard Azel's Angra, we probably wild.
My point is that routines are great if not overdone. ZVD went through multiple stages in ABC22 with his signature drops. They no longer became the wow factor. It's the same issue beatboxers in the 2010s had in beatbox competitions, with battlers running out of damned good material by the semis and finals.
D-Koy defo repeats lots of his fillers, but this battle probably became a battle of judging technique and accuracy. ZVD's routine probably got points for composition, but got knocked off by his numerous timing mistakes (esp in round 2 when he was unable to use some of his fillers at the same tempo as the rest of the routine). Personally, I didn't find it melodic, since the melody wasn't the centerpiece. D-Koy probably got nothing for composition, but his flow was there and his timing was largely good. Technicality-wise, ZVD might have his signature inward voice and duck voice drops, but D-Koy's whistles are just as much technical and his patterns aren't easy.
Really enjoyed the battle but I can totally see why D-Koy took it. If ZVD fixed his timings 100%, the result might've been different.
@@samuelyeo5450 agree with about at. But ZVD had a complete routines, and maybe his style similar, but if we talking about battle - ZVD got it
ZVD win for me
Dkoy technic was f**king awesome..!
Here we go
where is the final?
ZVD❤
SEMI FINAL🤯
ZVD
D koy, no have routines??
ooooooooh d-koy second round is insane
Artist-san??
D-koy killed it!!!
GG❤️🔥
was dkoy freestyling?💀
I guess he was
Always
how can people be in the crowd, listening to zvd, and be absolutely not moving one inch.,... 6:22 on the right of yellow shirt.. shes either not entertained, or trying not to go crazy
Because he used his double voice during his other routine and it feels very similar compared to thing like zippers which has so many variations
Could yall imagine if napom got back into American champs.
But why they remove dkoy from gbb 2021. That was not cool
Wasn't it his choice?
bruh
Who won
Dkoy
ZVD is so much taller than I thought. Or dkoy is short ?
dkoy short bro
When i meet zvd in this battle after he height same me ( 6'1")
