Definitely overthinking it , they glossed over the fishing trip because there was no way to rectify it that fit the tone of the show , not hating but what's so great about it ?
There were so many things that could've gone wrong with this, but the entire finale was a masterpiece. It was like they'd never been away, every actor, including the minors like Gav's old schoolfriends, seamlessly fit back into the role.
I was worried they were going to reveal it and that it would have been underwhelming. They hit the nail on the head with this scene and I’m glad that we’ll never “know” what happened.
Honestly, didn't really like the way Brynn treated Gwen the past two specials. Seemed a lot more controlling and rude to her. But apart from that, still love his character
I think it’s always alluded to Bryn and Jason having relations on the fishing trip but tbh that wouldn’t have been that funny or a surprise so it’s best left as a mystery

I wanted to know. I respectfully disagree with those who believe that not knowing is funnier. It would have been better in my opinion for them to have not mentioned it at all in the final episode instead of this if they didn't want to reveal it. The only thing that tainted it for me.
