So the govt gets all these special little privileges to exercise what is supposed to be an inalienable right, while the average citizens will not get the same treatment, but can, shall, and will be arrested, charged, and incarcerated, then stripped of their firearms rights forever for merely carrying a firearm with out the proper permission of the govt aka a permit. I thought all of these govt officials took an oath to uphold, defend, and protect the constitution since it is supposed to be the supreme law of the land, and not piss on it, and infringe upon it with any excuses they see fit...
If you don’t make the states follow this update, why bother? Ohio does not follow the LEOSAIA of 2010 yet. Just the 2004 version and they don’t follow the qualification course of fire requirements nor the yearly requalification requirement.
Bless you all! This is why I was issued my LEOSA identification.
Thank you honorable Don Bacon. You are truly a friend of the law enforcement community

Ohio still does not follow the LEOSAIA OF 2010 or 2013. What good is the Act for officers in Ohio?

10yrs is a long time and sorta random, why not a term of enlistment.. 4yrs or more?
The training standard is a slippery slope too.
I qualify for these creds and its great they are out there but good luck getting the creds.
It’s super confusing..
