This is a diamond in the rough. This movie is like taking your best friend to an unknown restaurant that has the BEST...whatever. U found it, nobody has heard of it, and it's amazing.

this movie had an odd mesmerizing charm to it.
It is a great movie, not for everyone, but a really good movie.
This is the best movie I've seen in a very, very long time.

Paul Rudd looks like Luigi
This movie isn't for everyone. If you're a preteen or younger, odds are you probably won't enjoy it. There are no explosions or Michael Bay effects. It is a much slower movie by comparison to alot of mainstream stuff out there. However, if you have patience, a liking for Paul Rudd and Emile Hersch, and a couple hours to burn without any stresses, this movie is so great! I would highly recommend it simply if you want to watch a slower drama with pretty scenery and a good soundtrack.
This is what they call a independent film sir. Ofc this isn't everyone but it is for me. One of my favorite genre is independent movies

The first time I saw this movie I was on a long flight and it seemed boring as hell and only added to my isolation and boredom but the second time I saw this it floored me! Such a good film

One of the funniest movies I've seen in awhile.
At one point (because it's clear Paul looks like Luigi in this, but Emile was wearing a red shirt, and of course the blue overalls), I honestly thought "Okay, are they seriously trying to make the characters look like Mario and Luigi?" Anyway, this movie was awesome I thought. If you're only into action packed, romantic, comedy movies, and whatnot, and don't like this movie, doesn't mean it's shit. It's just that this isn't your movie. Anyway, I loved it.

I just stumbled across this movie and i LOVED it, it was thoroughly enjoyable.....one of the best movies ive seen this year (its from 2013)...although it seems surprisingly similar to the original icelandic movie, based on the trailer.

I really like the scene when he's talking to the old lady about her house, but I didn't understand the entire concept of her character.
she was a real person and she didnt know they were filming a movie, instead of a documentary, until later. they improvised and kept her in the movie and gave her more to do.

This technically was the entire movie in one trailer considering most art house films are slow motion montages of random yellow tinted everyday activities and weird angles. Oh spoiler alert by the way.

two reasons, and unfortunately its that simple. One, when someone doesn't understand something, they criticise it, take it apart, label it, and then try to impose themselves so they are 'above' it. Secondly, because people want to be apart of some 'group' because they aren't comfortable with themselves at all. it seems the percentage of 'hipsters' who label themselves as such are actually the slim minority, its everyone else who does that. should tell you something about those that label.
