This can’t be applied to a heterogeneous society because people happiness is moulded by their customs, beliefs and traditions. Thus, the concept of happiness would be nullified because the concept of happiness vary from person to person.

Bentham theory of utilitarianism ignores the happiness and welfare of minorities. it is only focused on happiness of majority .another critique point for bentham theory is that every person has different parameters for their happiness and pain so we can't measure it in units

Bentham utilitarian critics I think is that they ignore the minority happiness ,only focussed about the majority or in this world different types of people exist whose thinking is also different so we calculate the happiness of all,!
it will promote tyranny of the majority rule such as happening with the Muslim minority in the Indian autocratic system.
