Ive seen many bands over my 50 years in loving rock music. This was one of the best performances I've seen by a band. Iv'e seen Avenged 5 times before this and met the Rev and M, but this show was really special. Enjoy one of the greatest live rock/metal/prog bands
Romeh Absolutely. All things considered they’ve been touring non stop since the stage dropped so it’s inevitable he’s going to wear out after a bit. The last few shows they streamed I was a little concerned. But he sounded a ton better in this recording. Hopefully he can rest up those pipes
Peter Vandenberg I agree. I think personally it has to do with the mixing of their vocals and equipment. Download festival always mixes their stuff well and has vocals on point. And personally I think shadows gives 110% when performing at download just because download festival is like THE festival to headline and perform at you know. But he does sound great tho. Do you guys know if Avenged’s performance at Download was streamed anywhere?
There were 70k there for Avenged 115k for Guns and 110k for Ozzy. I watched all 3. Nightmare and the last part of Buried Alive was the only decent stuff Avenged put out, was bored with the rest.
