Yea I saw that. Still crazy these prices and sucks that they only put them in $1000 boxes. Should put them in retail to get everyone a chance (maybe they do?).
Megas don’t say anything on the box about autos. The hobby says 1 autos. The jumbos say 3 autos. Breakers delight say 2 autos. The box on which they pulled the Elly Debut patch says 2 autos. This box is a Breakers Delight. Time stamp 1:22. You can see the “2 autos” on top left of the box. These delight boxes are selling for upwards of $1200 everywhere. You get 1 pack, 12 cards, no base cards. This is what you get. 2 autos. 1 youthquake insert 6 base refractor parallels 3 other parallels A total of 12 cards. You’re welcome!
I'm like you man. Now 45. Got back into collecting a few years ago after my wife bought me a hangers box for Christmas. She didn't realize how many cards I do have..lol.. I actually found 2 mega boxes earlier this year at Meijer. But now, they just have empty shelves.
Thanks brotha! Just trying to keep it real and help everyone out as you all help me out. We are all in this together. Let’s hope the prices/supply/demand get better one day and come back down to Earth! Good looking out!
So card companies have colluded with grown men collectors to create a product that's immediatlely worth over 100K? Seems like the industry is now directed now towards grown men and not towards the kids who collect cards... What does a pack cost? I remember when "Stadium Club" came out in the early 90's. $20 a pack. Seeing what's happened to the card game.... dude. They're pieces of cardboard. Oh, it's a piece of bat or uniform... still cardboard. Not gold or silver. The card business has gone nuts.
@@seth3672 Yea it’s crazy. Those boxes are over $1000 each from what I have seen. Look at all the boxes they are opening. Just doesn’t seem right. What happened to it was about the kids instead of looking for a golden ticket? Feels like Willy Wonka world!
I’m priced out of the hobby as far as hobby and retail. If I went to Walmart today and they had Update Chrome Megas It would be a hard pass. Way too overpriced. I collect for the love of the hobby and I will continue to resort to shows and eBay sales. Good content !
@ it may have been the 1/1 autographed superfractor which sold for $111,000. I don’t think the mlb debut patch autograph has been pulled yet unless they haven’t gone public yet.
The other thing about all of this that tics me off to no end, used to you could send auto request to your local teams and they players would sign them and send them back to you! I just got back into this TTM auto collecting and nothing from players that are current! NOT ONE! I did get lucky and got a Shaq card signed but he is out of it now. The rest no big names at all! and they are no longer playing.
I miss getting those autographed cards back in the day! I don’t ever think I got one back but I went to a few all Star games where players were sitting next to me, and got a bunch of autographs when I was a kid. I used to wait outside of practice facilities for players to sign cards too when I was like 13. Good times!
I love breakers. They give me a chance to get quantity of just the players I like, and quantity gives me a chance at the big hits for those players. And I'm not in it for money like the rest of ya'll, so I don't have to overpay for Ely or Skenes or Merrill or any of the players that everyone is looking to flip and get rich on.
@ Breakers are good because they allow people that can’t afford hobby boxes to get in at a cheaper price than the box but the only problem is, is it driving the prices of the boxes up? Weird times!
So the pens will give you season tickets for pulling a baseball players card? Wow that's really nice of them. Do you know if the pirates are giving away any season tickets for pulling a football players card?
that was from a breakers delight box not a hobby box

Totally agree! Thanks for checking in!
Skenes was found i thought. Graded at a ten too and off to auction
Also not done any breaks yet,not sure I like the idea.
Really??? I must of missed that! Did someone open it live?

Just because they charge that does not make it worth it just because some fools pay it
Yup!
An item is worth whatever someone will pay for it. It's economics 101

A 6 year old boy from Texas found the Paul Skenes card a few days ago.
That was a different Skenes card. Not the 1/1 debut patch auto
