Welcome to our first episode of a very new series called theme park Rants, where we essentially rant about anything theme parks. Usually I try to enjoy Disneyland rides but I tend to get picky about which rides I go on.
My worst Disneyland rides I dislike in my opinion are 1. Mad Hatters Spinning Teacups 2. It's a Small World ride. 3. Jungle Cruise non movie version 4. Autopia. 5. Pinocchio's Daring Journey.
The reason is Jungle Cruise is very boring nothing to look at but trees and very few animatronics and so barebones it needs to be rethemed to the movie version of Jungle Cruise 2021 which I think is way better. It's a Small World ride would've been fun except that annoying song It's a Small World plays over and over and it's so freaking annoying to my eardrums as Scar from The Lion King 1994 would say "No! Anything but that!". Autopia is basically a go kart race that's so 1960s there's nothing to look at except trees and I get a better experience in a real car traveling on the highway. Mad Hatters Spinning Teacups is my absolute worst Disneyland ride of all time because you do nothing but spin around and everybody gets in your way, I get so dizzy it makes me sick.
I did put Pinocchio's Daring Journey on here because it features outdated Native American and Asian stereotypes built from 1983 I'm even surprised Disneyland in California is still showing it, hopefully they'll replace Pinocchio's Daring Journey with a different ride less problematic ride in the future.
The Best Disneyland rides I would go on over and over are 1. Matterhorn bobsled ride 2. Thunder Railroad Mountain 3. Star Wars Resistance 4. Space Mountain 5. Indiana Jones 6. Cars ride. 7. Tower of Terror now defunct. 8. Haunted Mansion 9. Pirates of the Caribbean 10. Splash Mountain now defunct. The reason why I like these rides is how much fun and exciting they are.
As for Universal Studios rides and Legoland rides, I just enjoy them for what they are. Sadly I missed out on the Back to the Future ride which I'll never get to ride in this life, maybe in the next life.
I'm not very excited for Tiana's Bayou Adventure being a Jungle Cruise knockoff ride, no pink flamingos, no lady butterflies, 3 possums hanging on a tree branch, no villains like Reggie, Darnell, Two Fingers, Lawrence, 2 Fenner Brothers, Dr. Facilier spirit no drop off song "Friends on the Other Side" or "Almost There" last verse. I'll try it out at Disneyland but I may end up very disappointed than excited, it may even go on my worst Disneyland rides list but I'll see for myself when I go to Disneyland in November, December 2024.
