So... Make sure you have a good editing software (I use Vegas Pro to edit my videos). Make sure your video doesn't change aspect ratio size (be careful with the black bars). Normalize the audio of all your video sources. And try doing sentence mix. As for the jokes, comedy is subjective. Make something that you think is funny and not something you don't find funny.
